    Christening ideas please?

Hi, I've been asked to make a christening card by the Godmother to be. The little girl will be 2 years old when she is christened, so rattles and dummies are out really. I'm a bit stuck, so am looking to pinch some of your inspiration ladies!

    Thanks in advance

Our church gives each child a candle, so you could go with something like that? Or a bible? Or the font?

Have also seen some decoupage which might be meant for confirmation/first communion, but they might work?

My mum, who makes cards as well, has always threaded satin ribbon (in the appropriate colour) thru some eyelets, to make a cross shape.it looks very pretty. i think i have one of her christening cards upstairs. i'll take a photo of it later and try to upload it

As you say - very adaptable - I added mini photos to the back parts of the card after the christening

Of course I dont mind - that is a beautiful version of the card.
I got the basic idea from some place or another - and just adapted it a bit here and there.
    Your Mums card is gorgeous!
