A gift for Joanne Ward

I haven't scanned mine because, its mostly a big page of handwriting, with some patterned paper as a border - but it tells the story Bill Bryson quotes in 'Down Under' about a 3 year old girl adopted as a sort of mascot by the builders-next-door.
At the end of the week the builders present the little girl with a little paypacket and she and her mum go off to the bank. At the bank the cashier said
' Oh my, what did you do to earn a paypacket?'
'I've been building a house' said the little girl proudly
'Goodness!' exclaimed the cashier 'And will you be building a house next week, too?'
'I will be if we ever get the f***ing bricks!' said the little girl.

I love that story, so I hope Joanne does too

I am a complete newbie and feel the pain that Joannes friends and family are feeling as I have just lost a very dear long-term friend of the family who I have known all me life
