I love goign through the gallery and commenting and its true comments do boost self confidence.

If a LO attracts me enough to click on it, I leave a comment... It seems to me that the 'better known' you are the more comments you get, which is a shame... I have seen some fab LOs from newbie UKS users Off to do my 5 a day

This could cause some problems, but could the team who sets the weekly challenge at least leave one comment on everybody's lo that has taken part...

i always try to find time to comment....really does boost me when peeps leave some for me.

I have always found that they do Lisa but maybe some slip through the net?
Louise I think that what you say is also true, some great well known scrappers do attract more comments at times, just the nature of it I suppose. We all have favourites I am sure and those names catch the eye.
Its a good reminder though to look at the gallery and not the names attached

I think with the volume of work many will slip through the net, ive gone commenting mad and odne about 10....might se if I hyave time through the day to just look at random ones and comment.

Just wanted to add that as a newbie to the site it makes you feel a bit useless when you check and have no comments on your LOs. I'd like to thank Cutnpaste who added a few comments to my gallery so now each of my LOs have at least 1 comment. It's a really thoughtful thing to do. Thank you. xxx

Will admit to being guilty on this one - mainly because the only comments I seem to get these days are via the praise-a -thon thread, or on the cyber crop class uploads.

Like the others - I upload one of what I think is the best LO I've done in a long while - and nothing happens.... can be a bit demoralising...

But - you've given me a prod now so I'll go off and do my 5 a day....

because i love to receive comments ,i always try to leave a few too ,each time i click on uks i take apeek at the new LO'S or whatever is in the gallery ,yes some do slip through the net ,we cant be on here 24 hrs a day .even if we'd like to be ,but i do make a point of commenting . I have noticed too that the more well known peeps get the most comments ,why is that do you think ?????

as a new member of uks i feel a bit like a spare part at present ,even though i have joined a team now and have joined in lots of threads and posted lots of comments in them,i dont feel as welcome as i could do ,i know it will be a bit more difficult to be friendly with everyone as its a massive site ,with lots going on ,but it would be nice to be made a little more relaxed about the whole thing ,and i think by leaving comments on peeps galleries will help towards this

I am not a confident scrapper by any stretch of the imagination, so when I get a comment I feel a little boast, and I hope that I can pass on that same feeling when I comment on someones work. It makes me feel good all over again.
