It didn't cut cleanly - it ripped the paper and although we tried a few settings it kept ripping stuff and other letters were not cut through at all.

I agree with most people, I think they are discontinuing some lines, as they have just launched four new sizzlitt alphabets on the website. I bought some alphabets recently and they were in the same boxes as the ellison alphas, better catch system so the dies don't fall out.

I had a play with the Cricut at the weekend and was very impressed with it. Can't wait for mine to come in November.

The girl who was demo-ing was very competant and talked about various problems which had been encountered, such as the cutting, and showed what may be causing them and how to get around them. A lot of it is just trail and error ....................and lots of playing!!

BTW the Sizzix products are just being rebranded under the Ellison name due to changes in ownership.

There are several settings on a cricut according to different thicknesses of card , different pressure settings and speed. If either of these are out then it will affect the cut - also could have needed a new blade. I love my cricut its fab

Yes the girl tried a couple of times and a couple of settings and it wasn't very good, so we gave up after wasting several sheets of Bazzill !!
