Ikea have a beautiful corner desk that is curved at the front and has tons of space - we have a very large PC (OH is a fanatic and builds his own), monitor, printer (again, large) and boxes of alsorts on ours and there is still room to craft, write whatever on it.
The height is adjustable too, so we have a matching drawer unit underneath the one side that has the scanner on top and as it's on wheels we just pull it out to use it.
I think it's beech and you can choose the legs you get. There is also a special desk protector in leather that sits over the centre of the curve. Very practical.
    Hope this helps.

I used white kithen work tops as it gives you loads of scrapping space & room for storage under & on top. I moved house 12 weeks ago & finished my craft room 2 weeks ago & I love it. Just window dressing to do. I'll try to add pics to help. Only used cheap storage from Ikea & made it pretty myself.
Not sure if it's the sort of thing you want but it may give you some ideas

Ah Thanks girls, nice comments. We used to keep a spare bedroom that was used... maybe 4 times a year. This seemed mad, I'd rather give visitors our room & have a room I can use any time I wish, it just seems to work better that way. It's not really so much having my own room it's more being able to start something & leave it out to go back too. I work full time so it means I can scrap more now rather than having to get it all out & pack away again before I finish.
I do share it with my 14 year old DD as she scraps & makes cards too

gorgeous room - well done! Love the ikea wooden drawers too - might have to copy that idea and cover the fronts with papers - looks sooooo much better than the boring plain wood... and might make me use them too!
