Swap question

I just wondered. When you take part in a swap such as an Altered tin one or Altered dominoes or ATCs is there a rule that you don't upload pictures before the swap?
I've noticed that people tend not to so I was wondering if it was a rule?
I'd really like to show some of my work though!

With any swap the concensus tends to be that we don't upload anything until the recipient has recieved it so that they get a nice surprise. Once they recieve it it's great to upload it.

oooops! I didn't know that and have broken that rule with ATCs. Noone mentioed it was supposed to be a surprise!! will know for next time...
