    Hi Guys,

Have just photographed some of my LOs, but camera/photos not brilliant! Have put some of them into the gallery, and was just wondering if anyone had any ideas, how to take better piccies??

Any comments would be greatly appreciated!

You might try putting the LO on the floor and standing over it so that you take the pictures square on rather than at an angle - it's usually easier to see the whole thing then. If you have a basic photoediting program you can then crop them down to the LO only and you don't get any background showing.
Having said that, the Lo's themselves are very nice!

I do the same, take the page out of the protector and place on the floor. Try and put it somewhere with natural light so you don't have to use the flash (can sometimes cause a glare on the photos on any shiny elements). Take the photo from right above like AnniB said and then you can crop out the background with photo software.

U might try putting the Lo on the floor on a white towel r sheet, the white helps the pic I read somewhere, and if u take the photo on macro setting on ur camera, its supposed to be good, that is if u have macro setting on ur camera of course!

i take my pages out & stick them to my kitchen cupboards most of the time - this makes the images more square (& I get more natural light)

I have a handy 'scrap' of white card that's about 14x14. I put LO (not in the page protector) on the card outdoors, out of direct sunlight

Another vote for standing over them so you get the square-on view. I shoot mine outdoors out of direct sunlight to avoid flash and unecessary shine. I crop the image afterwards in Paintshop Pro.

When the weather is better, I'll take them outside and stand above them!!

We have decided to go ahead and get a new 'decent' digital camera, so I'll soon be having better quality piccies (I hope!).

Have added a few more to the gallery, so more comments please!!!!!

Just been told by my mum, that my LO's were at the top just a little while ago, and I was stuck in traffic and missed them!!!!!!!

Maybe they'll come round again (I can hope!!!)
