    Revitalizing an ink pad

I have ink pads which are hardly used, but have dried up a bit. Is there anything I could sprinkle on them to make them moist again (rather than buying a re-inker).
    Thanks

If its a versamark then you can buy silicon from the chemist and revitalise it that way ... other than that, the dye ink pads really need reinkers.

Not sure if it is the right thing to do but I have sprayed my ink pads in the past with vodka (put in a very small spritzing bottle and squoosh) and it has worked for me...I went by the principle that it was alcohol and would revitalise the ink ... maybe try it with one that you are not too fussed about as an experiment.
Ps if you are fussy about your scrapping re acid free etc etc then not a good idea but for cards etc it should be ok.

That seems a bit of a waste of vodka though

Hmmm - well I know you can make nail varnish last longer by adding a few drops of nail varnish remover to it to thin it out, wonder if there is a same principle for ink?

And make sure you store your pads upside down.. may sound obvious/daft but it really helps!

You can buy revitalising spray for dye ink pads
I have used then for a while on multi colour pads.
