I'm so excited i have just made this card for my friends grandson who is star wars mad.. the card is a corcertina type card but instead of standing upright sits neatly on the table and has 3 circles cut so they stand above the card... not a very good description best look at he picture! .......
thanks to Susibi
though maybe I could have picked an easier subject this is quite fussy.

Been playing (inspired by ErikaP - with many thanks) and decided to have a go at pop-ups which are printed first. Of course I have to start with beach huts lol!
This particular card had the message on the front saying 'Hope you have many.....' as separate letters cut out, the font used is Keep on Truckin'

The front of the card has the word Enjoy!, the rest goes inside, font is Keep on Truckin

An idea which could be modified for any keen photographer (the person I made this card for liked food and photography.
The clip art food could be changed for any other interest or even a photo!
I have also done a pop-up golfer, but will not post because it infringes a copyright!

Here is a card i designed myself from scratch..... have put all the components on.
I cut the flames on the robo and them embossed them with glittery embossing pwder.

No where near the intricacy of Elida's superb templates, but this might be useful to some one.
Due to the fine 'support' pieces I have not put a dashed line - it is obvious where you need to fold.

Thanks to Erika and stressed for helping me with this one, cant belive how easy it is !
so this is for you ladies because you are both stars !!
If you dont mind erika i might put the film strip edge on this, my son works in a cinema and he wants a card for 'employee of the week', so this will be great!
Sorry no photo, My camera won't charge and i have just got a new phone and havent got to grips with sending things with this bluetooth thing.
Piccy added and amended the file slightly.......
Thanks erika. popup
Hi,
Did this last night. Maybebaby asked for a lattice cross for a Christening card. This would also be suitable for confirmation or sympathy.
Hope you like.

PS I have some new designs on my home gallery.
simple pop up tractor. cuts really well.

another basic pop up. cuts very well

I cut this from thickish paper or light card. Care is needed to avoid breaking glass when removing from the carrier sheet and when folding. It cut well, but a few of the confetti dots needed a poke to remove them.
I backed the top half of the pop up with rainbow coloured paper, and cut the greeting from the same sheet.
Probably not a good one for a beginner, even though it was designed by one - or perhaps that should be - because it was! :D :D :D
Hope it’s useful.

I cut this insert from lightweight card and the 'Happy Birthday' topper from patterned paper. It cut well, and was fairly robust, though again, some of the confetti needed an extra poke to remove it.
This fits an A5 card, (for which I have made a template) with slits to take the right hand corners of the insert to allow movement. I attached the left hand corners to the outer card with pritt stick.
I do hope someone will find it useful.

I was unsure where to upload this  but it cuts beautifully on my machine, so I hope it is ok to post here if not please could someone tell me ASAP before I upload the next pop up I have done.

Did this in Illustrator. If you want a coloured frame round the window then do it as a print and cut. As it goes in the inside of a card I used thin card as I found that easier to fold. I also printed a pattern on the back of the card before cutting so that when it is folded and you look through the window it looks like wallpaper inside. I am attaching folding instructions in case anyone needs them.

This is the summer we wish we had!
The fold lines on the trees need to be scored manually.

Here is my version of Gentleflower's challenge. I enlarged and traced around Linda's ted and converted him into my first ever pop up. The chain of teddies is one of Ruthan's templates.
This fits a DL card

sorry not been around much I am very busy at the mo please forgive me for lack of down loads.
this cuts beautifully though I did want red vellum for the wine but I could not find any.
My star challenge card, an attempt at pop-up inspired by those folding Christmas decorations!
Here's my star card for the challenge - it's a pop-up one. I am still very much a robo newbie & this is my first template that I have uploaded. The card fits into a 6 x 6 inch envelope. I used a pen with the pen holder to draw the lines on the star.
I am really into pop-up cards at present, so turned Ruthin's design through 90degrees and used the shape. The flowers were made in DM modifying an 8-pointed star.
I prefer to score the fold but I have marked the dashed lines on the template
Sue
Here is the template for the concertina card.
If you wish to add a back to the card just cut an oblong 3 cms longer than the card when folded and wrap this 3 cms round to the front.
Last one for today. The clasp can be cut from gold and added as an extra. I have also done a separate template so if you want you can use a patterned overlay. Q** don't do that for you!!!

I saw this type of popup in a local stationers and thought I would see if I could adapt for robo and us dragonflies as I love dragonfles have and have tried taking piccies of them when they land on my fishing rod but they sit there for ages until I get the camera out and off they flit....
You can find it HERE
thank you for taking the time to look
xx
May be of use to someone
oNE FOR THE BOYS YOU CAN FIND IT HERE
Easy one for you:lol:
Here's one that will be nice for all sorts of occasions. Could also be used for men as well.
Very easy to fold, I've also added a few small punched flowers to it.
Hope you like it.

Well August is here and of course the weather is doing what it always does in August …………..
So this month's challenge is entitled ‘Fun in the Sun’ and the emphasis is on FUN :D
To start the process off, fun for me is the beach, especially our beach hut so firstly I am posting a print and cut pop-up card. Think also of the ‘clever’ words and phrases which link with ‘fun’, for me ‘Life’s a beach!’, ‘Relax and Enjoy!’, ‘Sun, Sea and …’ etc
It would be great to see some layouts and pen work, so now it is over to you clever lot to be creative and humorous!
Enjoy!
Sue
I put an illustration from an old school book in the window.
In ROBO Master be sure to go to Output Settings/Cutting Settings/Cutline Settings and set the red lines to Dashed Line.
In SCAL, after importing the SVG, move the template as needed to get it all on the mat. Turn off the score layer before cutting.
A butterfly themed card which opens to show a springy pop up. You can see it here
Thank you for looking
Shirley
I think this card would work for an Inspirational card or retirement- maybe a card for a guy just remove the poem.
Font is Havix Hmk Bold
May be of use to someone.
That should say butterfly, but you knew that didn't you:lol::lol::lol:
It cuts fine but I should have put something dark behind it so it shows up better.
It's not very big so you may want to resize it.
Just made this quickly to see how easy it would be. This is the insert for the card which is also included.
See the link on how to make it here
Sorry about the rubbish pic I had to use my phone....my real camera seems to eat batteries like nobody's business LOL
Edited to say the butterflies aren't included but they are in are in SS library. I just released the compound path and used the outer butterfly shape
Did this for a customer who wanted a card for her granddaughter who loves swings. I did a topper for the front of the card which had the little girl's name and age but haven't included it as wouldn't be much good to anyone else. Assembly instructions included.
A beauty when made and decorated, everything you see in the pictures are included with the exception of the Wedding sentiment.....
You can get your Wedding one here or Birthday one here Both are available in GSD...STUDIO...SVG...WPC..AI..KNK..MTC
