Using the Clone Tool to Create a Heart Topper or Stencil - .46

I was asked how to make this, so can't claim credit for the design only how to achieve it, there are some extra ideas at the end of the tutorial and credit goes to Joyce (aka 2 magpies) who worked with me exploring the clone tool.

There is a video tutorial here this is using Inkscape .45 and the technique used is simplified. The written tutorial has been done using .46 and has been adapted for crafting designs.

This tutorial uses the following functions;

• Centre of rotation
• Flipping a shape
• Create Tiled Clones
• Resizing
• Welding (Path Union)
