Machine advice please Ladies

Hi there, I've had my original Silhouette since the first launch, and I think it's getting to the point I want to replace it. At the moment, I'm leaning towards the Portrait 2, as I don't have the need for a 12" cutting surface, and not really the space for it either.
What I'm wondering is will I be able to keep all the designs I have in my Library to date? Not only Silhouette Store designs, but my own, and others from around the net?

If you're using the same computer yes. Have you got the files that aren't from the store backed up because if you haven't and your computer develops a fault you will loose them

how can i back up files, i havent any backed up

It depends which version of Studio you're using. I would look on Youtube there's bound to be a video for the version you have
