That is lovely Ellie and I love the way the gold stars (which are really pretty) pick up the gold in the centre frame and sentiment.

Thank you.
Denise it was an embossed rectangle ,I just cut a piece of card to fit it.
Then went round it with a gold pen

You make it all sound so simple Ellie it came together so nicely
Here is the gift voucher I made for my nephew's 30th with a photo of him as a kid being held by Duncan Ferguson, his idol at the time. I put the logo either side and put his birth year and this year's dates on them. Part of his gift was from some of the family, three tickets to go and see the Wolves match with his dad and uncle. He said he'd love to do that as they've never been together. They're meeting for brunch first and then after the match meeting up with his best friend and going for a meal and a few drinks in town. It will be a nice 'boys' day out for them, especially if Everton win - but we won't hold our breath on that one.

Am I allowed to show the insert it has a quote from one of the goal keepers but has a naughty word in it funny though if you're a supporter? This is his actual birthday card, it has to be funny/cruel, it is expected and no he doesn't have a bald head but yes he did whinge constantly as a baby. He was horrendous, then he went into the terrible two's and they lasted for years.

Thanks ladies. On the inside of his main card I did tell him it wasn't all bad, at least he still has his hair. I'm just a cruel auntie. I'll post the insert, I typed all the names of who the tickets were from rather than getting everyone to sign but it's the quote that had them all laughing.

Can you read the quote, if not I can put it on here if no-one objects. I just tap twice on my mouse and it zooms in and I can read it quite easily.
Oh yes I can read it. That’s not bad Susie, I’ve heard far worse outside some
school gates . I’m sure he will appreciate the gift.

We gave it to him on Saturday night and everyone thought it was funny, especially my nephew which is all that counts. Footie supporters hey! You have to laugh half of their friends support Liverpool. Forgot to tell hubby that I was having a very intense conversation with my 6 year old great-nephew on Saturday. We discussed a number of subjects and then he told me that he no longer supports daddy's football club Man.Utd. he is now and Everton supporter.
Here’s my BTCR cards, based on the navy gold and cream colour scheme, and inspired by the stars in the picture...
