That's worked perfectly Wendy and what a pretty card, it reminds me of a church window. I love the central pearls for the body of the butterfly.
Loving your chat no presents arent included in the stash :lol:shop so noone should feel guilty
Love your card Wendy shaped like a window pretty :)
Thank you :-) I forgot to mention what I had used so here goes..... Die-sire card creator die 'Louise', which has a non-cutting edge for the fold of the card (new die used!!). Freebie magazine paper and Bazzill 'Seawater' from stash. Martha Stewart butterfly punch and SU tag punch, SU sentiment stamp.
It's reminded me that I have another card creator die, so I think I will dig that out next LOL.
Wendy
Oh my word! Another die-aholic among us! Lol
Now I've got to get out my naughty step for both of you! Tsk tsk! :nono:Quote:
Having you on board again Wendy, means Elaine can tell you off for buying dies instead me
Lol... Some lovely cards.. Too many to comment on but all beautiful in their own way.
I'm sorry I've been missing..Mum is back in hospital and I'm running about seeing her. She's very poorly now with pneumonia and her heart is really feeling the strain..we go from one disaster to another. She's had five pints of blood this week so far and they can't discover where it's all going..so she's there for a while yet.
Thick ice here so I'm staying close to home!
Some lovely cards everyone.
Just popping by to say that I'm on the road to recovery after,
spending 6 days in bed with flu. Not 100% but getting there, so
no cards done yet!!
Sorry to hear about your mom Elaine, it will be a worrying time for you.
Hope that they can sort it soon.
Ellie.
ooops... I had forgotten that I ordered some Crealies dies as the shop had 20% off .... they arrived today, so that's three more.... they were a bargain though!!
Sorry about your mum Elaine, pneumonia is not good :-(
Glad to hear you are on the mend Ellie.
wendy
Thanks Wendy.
Another die!!!! You will soon overtake our Die Master ,Susie.
She had better watch out!!!!!

I am sorry to hear about your mum Elaine, having been through this with both mum and dad, I know how hard and distressing and emotionally as well as physically exhausting it can be. If she's losing that much blood her heart will be under tremendous strain and coughing as well won't help. I hope they can get the pneumonia sorted and that they figure out where the blood is going. In my dad's case, his was from a tumour in the bowel but he didn't see any blood in is stool which was strange. The good news was that after bowel surgery he was fine and made a complete recovery despite being about 86 at the time.
I take it they have tested to see that she is making juvenile blood cells, because if she has something like haemolytic or auto-immune haemolytic anaemia they aren't making the blood in the first place so it isn't a case of losing it, they're not actually making it or it could be the blood cells are dying off faster than they are being made. It is more complicated than this obviously and lots of causes for it but it is worth asking if you haven't already. I think it takes around 120 days for a human blood cell to be born shall we say, to death, so how long has the blood loss been going on? It's just a thought and I'm sure your hospital would have looked into that but who knows. Take care of yourself Elaine and my love and thoughts go to you because I know how hard this is. I hope your mum improves soon.x
As for cards ladies, I'm trying to do the blue card but I did say I'd post the card from the new die so here goes.

Our posts must have crossed Ellie. You're obviously feeling a bit better then, taking the mickey out of me. Does this mean I'd only get silver if they had an Olympic medal for it?:) Glad to hear you've been resting and taking it easy. It's hard to stay in bed when you aren't used to it but with the flu it is the best place to be.
Love your card Wendy, it's nice to see one that isn't square or rectangular, well done on using one of your new dies :)
I can't believe how many dies you have bought already this year, you've obviously got an eye for a bargain !
Oh, and I agree, gifts don't count
Ellie, glad you are on the mend. Hope you can get back to the world of card making soon x
