I remember these from school (gosh they've been around a while) People used to rave about them then.

Has anyone got any photo examples? this is an interesting thread.
These baubles one post down are the USArtquest Watercolours that Jemm used (hope she doesn't mind me linking her blog  ) Aren't they gorgeous!!! They're about £20 a set and there's 4 sets  Would love some though.
I use Derwent watercolouring pencils, and Marvy pens really. I have just bought some H20s but haven't used them yet! I actually like the solid colour you can achieve with Marvy pens sometimes - depending on the image eg - this stamped Dolly Mama card here - I don't think watercolours would have been right for it so I used solid colour with the Marvys IYSWIM.
I agree with everyone that says, it really depends on the image you are colouring etc.
Lovely card. I have some Marvys but haven't used them much
Thanks :) Don't forget Tracy, you can use Marvy's as watercolours too - scribble on some plastic and pick up the colour with a waterbrush. You can also just draw straight onto the image with a thick line and then pull the colour with a waterbrush - have to say I haven't been v successful with this way tho - always find I can't get the colour to blend too well :)
I've been playing with some cheapo WhSmith Wtarecolours tonighta dn last night. In the past I have used te pebbles chalks to colour stamped images but following the bella threads and this thread I pinched dd's watercolous- I only bought them cos they weree cheap at the time. Pics on my blog if anyone fancies a look
I tend to stick with my Derwent watercolour pencils but have recently got some zest-it and it works well with the Derwent Studio pencils so if I want a slightly bolder colour I use that technique instead.
Would love to try the prisma's to see what they are like.
I usually use Pencils, and Marvy le Plumes but today I tried Marvy Wet Looks embossing markers and I loved those, you end up with a very glossy image. Perfect for Christmas Cards
I use either Marvys as watercolours, Caran D'ache watercolour pencils or Prismacolors with white spirit as I couldn't get on with Zest-it.
I use Derwent watercolour pencils, Caran Dache are just as good, H20s, Windsor and newton half pans as i don't get on with tubes of watercolour. Also sakura gelly rolls.
I think I'll have to get some Derwent Watercolours. The Marvy Wet Looks embossing markers sound great too.
I knew you lot would come up with some great ideas :D
