I use 2 different Laptops for cutting, is there a quick and easy way of importing custom cut settings to each machine i.e is there a system file that can be copied so the set up is same on both machines?

Not as far as I know
If you mean can you export/ import your user defined custom settings then you can do it in V4 of the software. I can't remember which version it was introduced in - I am using beta version 4.1.335 but I think it was v4.1.197.
