Interesting one Alison. thank you.
Another great selection Alison! :D
I failed abysmally last month, my mojo has gone on strike. But I am still following along and have the sketches to look back on as and when craft mojo returns. :)
Hope you find your mojo Nat !
Loving the simple sketches, Alison. Here's mine using up some old stash.

Love it Margo ! Great valentines card :)
Great card Margo, what a super way to get rid of old stash too and I love the challenge Alison.
Here’s a couple of cards from me,inspired by the sketch…

And another one, with the squares filling the card. I’ve made another almost identical one . That’s two birthdays sorted at once !
I’m really trying to use up all my saved bits and pieces that I’ve allocated for card making , I need to tidy up somehow. The sentiment was cut from a friends die a long time ago and was begging to be used ! The coloured squares are from an old card I’ve been saving for ages

Nice cards ladies - I have some with squares that I made last week using up stash but they don't actually fit the prompt. will have another go later this week and try to fit in with it.
Love all your cards Alison.
A couple from me - variation on a theme???

Ooh love the little balloons on the first one.
And the ribbon is great on the second one, makes it look like a little gift :)
All lovely cards ladies, and different too.
This doesn’t fit the brief, but I wanted to show you the card
I made for Louis my DGS. He’s into mechanicals and especially watches.

Oh WOW Ellie - what a super card, so very thoughtful in the concept and design.
yiayia I like the pretty paper on the pink one.
Ellie, that's superb. Did you use a stamp? And how did you pick out the watch??
Margo, the card with the butterfly design on is in fact from a paper hankie "cube" box. When the hankies were finished I decided to cut the box up for just that reason - knew I would use some of it sometime!!! I even kept the top with the oval cut out of it (where you pull the hankies from) as this will make a good aperture on a card one day. You know me - waste not want not!!!
Well done you Yiayia recycling your tissue box, that butterfly design is very pretty
Ellie, what a fab card, perfect for your DGS, yes I was wondering about the watch too
I’ve made a card for Hugo, initially I was going to put his name in the 4 squares but i deviated ! Thought I’d share the card here anyway :)

Beautiful Card Alison - very unusual and so expressive of many of the emotions a new baby brings.
Alison, that is an absolutely superb card, just amazing. Such a clever design, and so neatly made. I'm sure they'll treasure it.
Beautiful card Alison. I love all the little sentiments on it.
My card was just a piece of printed card left from something else.
I think it was in a monthly box from Memories and photos.
The watch is a peel off from a sheet of clocks, cogs etc.
I did have to place ( carefully) the gold bars on the watch strap.
It was a faff but worth it.
Ellie
Wow Alison, that card is stunning! What a special card. x
I can't believe how many fabulous cards I've missed this month, stunning in their own different way each and every one, well done ladies.
Alison, I love the heart shape, how on earth do you do that and get it so even? Stunning card!
Thanks you for your comments :)
I drew a heart then filled it with stickers and embellishments I had, then used the coloured pearls to mark out the outline, very simple really. My DD really liked it so I shall have to do something similar for her new baby when he arrives !
