Hi
I saw this on tv the other day and decided to have a go. It my daughters 16 birthday in a few weeks time. I cut several of the easels and stuck them together to make the stand sturdy enough to hold the toppers. Hope you can find use for it.
I cut the floral mat twice from 180 gsm card and then glued both mats together before mounting them on the card to give a raised design effect.
GSD, Studio and SVG files are in the zip folder in case they might be useful.
.
An aperture card featuring a basket filled with flowers - available in studio, gsd and svg formats. You can find it here.
Thanks for looking
This is a line art design that I have decorated with a ‘brush embroidery’ cake icing technique, but I substituted fabric paint for the icing and a wooden cocktail stick, needle or pricking tool for the brush.
I have added a couple of images that I hope will show how simple this effect is to achieve, but basically you first outline the edge of a petal in red fabric paint, then use the pricking tool to draw the bottom edge of the paint downwards. You should only work on one petal at a time or the paint may thicken as it dries and be difficult to work with.
I have included SVG, Studio and GSD files in the zip folder along with the ‘how to’ pictures, and I hope they might prove useful.

I test cut this on 160gr card but I think a heavier card was really needed.
thought this would be quite good for a male card
