Oh you lucky thing! Just remember than that Joanns have good offers, but they get better too, so if you know there's a special offer or sale coming wait (although it's hard, it's still cheap even without a sale!) :)

Hi Natbag
I've been watching, sorry drooling over your goodies from orlando as I am going in just under 12 weeks from now! I NEED one of those cuttlebugs, hopefully at the price you got yours. I was wondering how much the alphas for it cost? Did you get any in Joanns, etc? I've already got several of the cuttlebug dies on my ever increasing stash shopping list and would hope to get alphas too if they are cheap! I've signed up for emails from AC Moore, Joanns and Michaels so I can print the newest coupons before I go.
Cheers
Elaine

I'm pming you now Elaine :)
For general info, the alphas were $64 in Joanns, but I used a 40% off voucher which took it down to $48 (£24ish). :)
Think Michaels was slightly cheaper for dies, but got this on my last day and didn't have time to travel as far as Michaels.
well, me and iamdozytart are back and all shopped out!
We found Virgin excellent - got me a bulkhead seat as 23mth old on my lap - and they were fine re the food - I ordered a meal for her but it wasnt suitable so they found other food for her.
Baggage was fine - up to 2 pieces each - just got to the website -it is really explicit. Can take makeup on hand luggage as long as anything liquid/gel is no bigger than 100ml and all items fit in their given plastic bag (or one 20cm x 20cm) Could take water out as long as tasted it but orlando you couldnt, tho could take milk and no tasting! Got water airside then
Joannes was fab, as was Walmart for ribbon and stickers. Jo's was great prices and the spring stack was $19.99, and the did an embossed DCWV stack too which is gorgeous, for the same price, tho less sheets. Also made it ti Whimsodoodle in St petersburg which is lovely - they had a sale so got loads of bargains. Much more of a proper scrapping shop so prices more than Joannes but well worth a trip - esp as St Petes beach is lovely! Took about 1 1/2 hrs or so from juncn 58 on the I4. Bit disappointed didnt find new Basic Grey there tho - she had only just received it and wasnt for sale yet.......will be by now tho!
Hope everyone has a fab time - we did and Discovery Cove for those who are going is well worth the money - it was just lovely.
I have loads of pics and am gradually uploading to photobox if anyone wants to see them - let me know
love
Glad to had a good time and didn't get too stressed with a 23-month-old on your knee (I know I did on the way back but then I had my family annoying me too!)
Would love to see your photos, I want to know about your big bargains too! :D
Can't wait to get out there again now! Just about getting over a really nasty bout of flu (temp of 103, hallucinations the works  ) so that sunshine is going to come just in time :D .
Is there any news on the Scrapbook Boutique? This was always a must see but I did think it was a bit rubbish last year. Hoping it will be brill again when it re-opens.
Just found all my e-mails from JoAnns etc kindly filed by orange under 'junk' - only found them when I accessed my e-mails via their website. I think DH may have been having a word with them  !!
Not sure about the Boutique, but Scrapbook @ Tags N Stuff is worth a visit for some lovely pps and a few nice embellies not seen in the bigger stores. It's on the 192 on the corner with Michigan Avenue on E Vine Street, left at the big Staples and Salvation Army shop. :)
Hope you have a lovely time and the weather is kind to you :)
P.S. I think I've worked out why some people who sign up to Joanns newsletters get the coupons and others don't. I signed up with both my .com and .co.uk email addresses and only get them to the .com so if you haven't already tried that get yourself a hotmail.com address and try again :)
Thanks, Natalie. I've heard of that one a few times on here but never seen it IRL despite several trips to Mickey-land. Is there a website, do you know?Quote:
