If you have a look at my screenshot, you have to click on the arrow in Studio cut settings window, which gives you a drop down to select blade type, depth etc and you should be able to adjust from there.

Thank you Andi, found it...
With the blue cap settings for vinyl, it says I'm at speed 8 and depth 33.....which is the maximum cut......weird.....I can turn it down but can't cut any deeper. Hmmmm
If you use the yellow cap the blade will cut deeper because the blade extends slightly more. The cut settings are just for guidance.....you can do a test cut to see if it will cut how you need it but mind you don't cut right through and the mat....been there done that not when cutting vinyl but when cutting card :)
Nige, 33 is the maximum and is intended for the Cameo, which has greater cutting force than previous machines. I never go above 30 for my little CR, plus I don't go too fast (even though it sometimes feels like watching paint dry) because it is easy to tear card and paper if it is too fast - I don't use vinyl, even though I have some, so I have no experience of how it cuts.

Thanks...:)
I'm going for a coffee then I'll change the caps and report back later...I'll get back to normal in the end :)
