Looking for groups of 10 people to take part in this rainbow fibre swap.

You will need to send 10 lots of 3 metres of your specified fibre colour. This can be made up of one length of 3 metres or three lots of 1 metre, you choose, as long as it sticks within your colour group.

Each group will consist of the following colours meaning everyone will get some fibres from the whole spectrum.

RED
ORANGE
YELLOW
GREEN
BLUE
INDIGO
VIOLET
WHITE
GREY
BLACK

Please send a SAE or mark the outside of your envelope with your UKS contact details and group number (so I dont rip open the package in excitment and destroy your envelope.)
Please remember to send stamps so that I can send it back to you.

If possible, can you include a slip with your swaps so other members know who they have swapped with.

Please PM me your details including your address and telephone number with preferred colours and I will confirm your place and specified colour.


Completion By:
Send in all your fibres by 15th April.
Fibres to be posted out by April 30th
Will send out early if ALL fibres received before this date

Lots of enquiries from interested parties.
You can use all the same fibre if you want to,
or 3 x 1 metre lengths
or 2 x 1.5 metre lenghts
Mix and match or all the same, your choice:-)

Anyway whatever you like teh look of is fine by me. Beginning to wish I hadn't chosen white as white fibre all rather thin and boring compared to the colours ones. Have looked everywhere online and shops :( . Anyway found one so hope it is ok.

I have recieved my fibre today. It was so hard getting 30m of yellow fibre. But I have it now. I will get it ready tomorrow at work. They have a meter ruler I don't. And send it off.

I have packaged up all the fibres for those in Group1. We are very close to completing on the other groups so will wait till tomorrow to see if the outstanding fibres arrive in which case will do them all together.
If they dont arrive tomorrow then will post group 1 off seperatley. You will know when I post them as I will leave feedback for you:-)

Well update is....

Groups 1 & 4 are in the post and winging their way to you. Sorry we have a bank holiday to slow things down a little but won't be too long and they will be there.

It has been a pleasure dealing with you all and particularly seeing all the lush fibres coming in. It has been hard to part with them but a small consolation has been that I joined in every swap so have a little but of everyones fibres:-)

Please let me know when they arrive. I will go and leave feedback for the two groups who are in the post right now.

The last fibres are winging their way here from the Emerald Isle as we speak. I have the rest all bagged up and ready to go as soon as they arrive.

The next Rainbow swap is going to be Rainbow Buttons and Bows. I cannot have it put up until this swap is completed but thought you would want to know what to expect.

I have been talking to some sponsors about good deals and availibility for buttons and feel confident that we can get the colours we need easily and at a good price.

The fibres were waiting when I got back from France last night at 11.00pm :wacko: :wacko: Going to have a play with them now - I was a bit sleepy last night :lol: They really cheered me up I am sooo not happy to be back :(
