Let me know what you're buying so we can keep everyone different! Label them with your UKScrappers name and your group number, and then send them to me. I'll do the rest (could include either a label with your name and address and stamps to cover postage or a new envelope with your name and address and stamps to cover postage ).

1 or 2 stamps should be sufficient (i will return any unsued ones)

I'll do 3 groups of 10, if there's enough demand and that way I can split up any duplicate themes.

I bought a bottle for a team challenge/swap, and used 21 from it for that. I've then sent a few from it as part of a 'wish', and taken out the 100 for this swap. I now reckon I've probably got half a bottle left. It's hard to tell accurately though, as they come fairly tightly packed but once you start taking them out and putting them back they take up more space :wacko:

Just looked at the colours in group 1, and I think mixed is the same as brights? Any prima experts out there who can confirm this?

If that's the case, maybe it's better to move one of these to a different group.

Ok silly question coming up - how large are large primas? I had visions of them being an inch or more but they are only half that size. Is this right? I must say that whilst ordering my pink ones 3 other bottles fell into that basket too - tut tut. Can someone confirm these are the ones before I bag them all up.

The large flower is approximately 3/4 inch in diameter, the medium flower approximately 5/8 inch in diameter and the small flower approximately 1/2 inch diameter.

I've got 4 bottles on order from a sponsor which are listed simply as 'Got Flowers' with a size of 2cm each -- which makes them large, and which is what the picture looks like. But I've just found the same ones (Christmas, Easter, Summer 2 and Winter 3) listed as 'Seasonal' on another site without sizes, so I'm now very confused as to what I'm getting :wacko:

In the seasons someone has just post that you get 3 sizes in the bottle, so rethink on that one for me:D

The seasons bottles contain 3 sizes (according to sarahscards who sells them) but the smallest size is the same size as the normal large prima. I have just gone and bought some so I hope this is OK

there is enough in a normal large bottle to do the swap

the seasonal ones - as long as it is ok with every one we could do say
3 X large , 4 large and 3 medium - that shoule equate to 10 large - does that make sense

That should be more than 10 large as I was told that the smallest size in the seasons bottle was the normal large prima if that makes sense so the large and extra large would be bigger still

my seasonals have arrived today, and I have a bottle of large (which I know to within 3 or 4 how many I've used from it), so if you want I'm quite happy to count the number of flowers in each and try and come up with some closer 'exchange rate', as I agree it shouldn't be 10 seasons if they send a mix of the 3 sizes.....

Right -- I reckon my bottle of large green had about 360 flowers in it.
Used 22 on LOs, sent 80 for a mixed size swap (but got 8 of these back), have sent 100 for this swap, and still have 165 in the bottle. 22+72+100+165=359

My new bottle of Easter (which has the large, extra large, and extra-extra large) has 175, which are split pretty equally between the sizes (56 each of the smaller 2, and 63 of the largest). So it looks like you only get half the number of flowers in the Seasons compared to the large......

Gosh i cant believe how many prims you said are in a bottle. Mine have come well the postie left a card cos i was out. So i will get them tomorrow and have a stroke before i send them off.

i was thinking if we didn't anyone else for the 3rd group we could make it a seasonal group, i would then drop out of group 2 but since purple is already there , i would take the 100 purple from and substitute with 100 yellow from me

I can do the Summer 2 seasonal selection. I only have 101 in my bottle!! I'm gutted compared to the single coloured one everyone else seems to be talking about. Is that because our are bigger?

I have just counted my winter 2 primas and have 100 left and have only used about 10 :o Others seem to be getting a lot more. Where have you ordered your seansonal ones from?

Lynne - I have only ever had around 200 large primas in a bottle, maybe the smaller sizes have more in? Other people do seem to be getting more in theirs though?

right been a saddo and counted my prima this is what i found

forever flowers (the dumpty bottle) 36 large and 38 small

got flowers milk bottle large (the ones for this swap) 250!

I agree (to within about 6 or 7) with the copper top count... just used one and a bit of those in a swap and couldn't believe how few were in a single bottle.

My large green are the only large I have, so can't compare. But I checked and double checked my count, and I know I was right...... can't believe the difference between bottles :(

Will have to go and count the Winter ones I'm planning to use for this swap tonight -- just hope I don't need to order another bottle of them :unsure:

sounds OK to me, but if some people are only getting around the 100 in their bottles they may not have 30 of each size! (only mention this as 100 is well short of my count, so I suspect they must have a lot more of the largest that I had and mine were split pretty equally to a total of 175).

I've just managed to get 3 of each size out of mine and a good mix of colours, apart from my bag will have only one of the smallest size (I have used a few of mine). In a couple of the bags there is two the same colour in the smallest size buts that's it.

Packed up my Winter 3 tonight, and counted what was left. My bottle had 49 large, 50 xl, and 88 xxl -- so a total of 187 flowers! That's a dozen more that the Summer 2 I counted the other day, despite having more of the largest :wacko:

Think I put in the 2 1st class stamps with my original set -- how much more do I need to put in with this lot? They can come back in the same envelope as I don't believe in paying Royal Mail more than I have to :lol:

Yes i cant wait too. When i went shopping yesterday i noticed that hartleys jam pots were a lovely shape (it was the unusual jams like pinapple etc) thought oh i like pinapple jam and those jars would look lovely with primas in:lol: :lol:

So jam butties alround in my house:lol:

As for postage two 1st class stamps should be fine as that is what i used on my ribbon swaps 2 groups and they were a lot heavier than primas!!!

Oh god, i've really plummeted to the levels of prima madness now, I counted my seasonal Winter 1 bottle last night, it was jam packed, there was 249 in the bottle. My summer bottle only had 170! Mind you I think the quality of the winter flowers isn't the greatest, very crumpled and bitty iykwim.

My Fall1 arrived tonight so I can get them bagged up and sent - was it 10 or 9 I'm to send? I don't mind either way. Not sure how many of each size I have but there was about 133 in total. It's my first bottle so I was a little disappointed in how crushed looking a lot of them seem but hopefully they're okay :)

I dont personally have a problem with a few days delay on this one, as group 3 wasn't organised until much later than the other two :wub:

Mine all bagged up for group 3. Will try and get someone to take to PO tomorrow otherwise might have to wait until Saturday. as POP required.

I have done my best with what was in my bottle to give 3 of each size but only just had enough and some were not usable. They are beautiful though , didn't want to part with them!

Mine just arrived.:D ..really loverly to have something nice to take away the bitter taste of the insurance company saying they wouldn't cover some water leak damage because it was long term and OH daughter hadn't told us! Going to cost us taking out loo, sink, flooring and replacing the lot!!!! And all she can say is ' oh sorry, I didn't notice it' ggrrrrhhhhhhhh:angry:

Just received my wonderful seletion of Primas. Many thanks to all in groups 1 and 3 for a fantastic selction. Currently trying very hard not to drool all over the "Seasons" ones, as there are loads of colours there I've not seen before... and keep telling myself I really do not need to order myself any more until I start to use up what I already have :lol:

And (of course) many, many thanks to Lynne our wonderful hostess. And a special thankyou for taking the time to sort out the Seasons group, which I think we all realise must have been a major headache for you :wub:
