3 groups of 10. Each group will be for one colour option.

Choose a colour (each group will contain 2 colours), choose an embellishment, and spend no more than £5. Split embellishments into 10 bags and send to me. I will then send you back 10 lots of embellishments all in your chosen colour.

I have bagged up my brads - thank you for letting me join.

I got a pack of Bazzill Refined Rounds and a pack of Bazzill squares (they are £2.35 each). There are 48 in each pack so I have done 10 bags of 9 brads (I've mixed the rounds and the squares). I hope that this is all correct

I'll get them off to you in the post on Monday :)

Help please! This is my first swap. Have been waiting for blue buttons to arrive. Now they are here I'm not sure how to split them as mixed. Originally thought to split evenly across the bags but that means will only get 1 or 2 of a button. How many do people usually use of the same kind. As can split instead by trying to give people in groups of the same buttons. There are different sizes and different types too!

Hope this makes sense! The fibres were much easier!!

I often buy different sizes of the same 'plain' (self-coloured) button to use on one page, but if they're shaped (such as boats/butterflies) or have details on them (such as animal faces or geometric designs) then I'd probably only use a couple of any one on a single page. Sorry I can't be of any more help than that :(

Helen, you can split them however you like. 1 or 2 of a variety sound ok to me. I sometimes use 1 or 2 as an accent. But if you are happier grouping them differently thats ok too.

ohhhh noooo groan... the "pink" eyelets i ordered arrived this morning... i had envisaged nice girlie bright pink ones.. instead i now have dusky sophisticated ones :blink:

Thats fine Elaine, I am sue they will be great. Smurfie either is fine with me too.

The details of the swap say £5 spent rather than amount because some things cost more than others and some people have different suppliers, if you are lucky and get something at a bargain price, we all benefit. Thats the way I see it anyway, we just have to trust that every one is spending the same then we all get £5 worth of goodies back, but a mix!!!

Thanks Emma .. I was a bit worried about it looking mean. I was so upset when I posted yesterday because I got what was supposed to be purple craft buttons off ebay. I paid £16.80 for them so that would just work out at 5 buttons each for my fiver but what disapointed me was loads of them were cream or green !!!! or just unusual shapes. I managed to get a better selection by mixing some of my stash in so feel a bit happier now. Will post them on monday.

i know how you feel ... same happened to me id ordered (what i thought) was a big lot of pink eyelets from the states... bit more than the £5 pounds but it didnt matter.. when i got them there were all sorts of other colours mixed in the lot... so i ordered more from ebay.. it actually said 200 PINK eyelets.. and when i got them they werent what id call PINK :( but i cant really justify ordering yet another lot of stash ... so itll have to be sophisticated pink...
