Hope I'm allowed to post this here, I need to pick your brains people :D
Saw an advert in a US mag for Stewart Superior Transfer Ink (http://www.stewartsuperior.com/html/transfer_ink.html) and I just wondered if anyone knew where I could get some in the Uk? It looks fab

If I am not mistaken you can achieve the same effect with clear packing tape.

Just print out the image you wish to transfer onto normal paper, place the packing tape on top and soak in water. You should be able to remove the packing tape from the paper and have the imaged adhered to the tape. Then you can stick it onto any other surface (I am just writing this from memory, so I might have gotten something wrong along the way - please correct me, if needed)

Thanks Lisa hun :) Will email them in a tick

Kimmy, thanks, but tried the packing tape thing....just don't want to be restricted by the width of tape and also the fact that it's glossy :( And this stuff works with inkjet print outs too, which I haven't had much success with trying to transfer with gel mediums

Hi All!
I used to have a couple of bottles of "Transfer Medium" one was labelled DECALIT and the other was from Webster Craft [I haven't seen them or the bottles for a couple of years!] The transfer medium was for use with photo copies or inkjet prints even magazine pages and you could transfer all sorts of images to all sorts of surfaces but I can't remember how !!!
Don't know if this is what you are talking about but it may help.
