Well mine is all but finished, just a few little bits and bobs to do but our postal strike is still on so I can't send anything by recorded delivery. We still have some post coming in and out which isn't so bad. Do you think, other than lots of time and effort wasted, it would matter if I sent it first class but not recorded so that I don't hold people up?

Sorry I've not been around alot lately.

Leanne - its fine if you want to post to me early will give me something to keep my mind iccupied.

DH was in hospital this morning to have a lump removed from his shoulder and we now have to wait for a week for the results to find out if it is cancerous or not - I am dreading getting the phonecall!!!! I am sure it willbe ok but can't help fearing the worst. So please forgive me if I'm not posting much at the mo.

Fingers crossed for your Karen. I agree waiting is always the worst. My DH had a major scare last year and we had to wait for results of a brain scan - doctors forgot to come and tell us it was clear and we waited 7 hours in hospital worrying ourselves sick .... a week is a very long time to wait.

Thank you all so much. I amscared to say anything to Ray as I don't want him to start worrying, but I just keep thinking what Iwill do if they tellus the worst - not surprisingly i didn't sleep last night worrying. I am sure it will turn out to be a cyst or something like that but there is always the thought that it could be cancer in the back of my mnd - it makes it worse i think as we lost his mum to cnacer a few years ago - i am so glad to know that i can come on here and pour out my feelings without worrying ray with them 0 i am sitinghere crying at the moment!!!

oh karen.... you poor thing... {{{HUGS}}} it is extra scarey when there is already cancer in the family... hubby had to go for a checkup last year due to tummy problems... his dad has stomach cancer... luckily he was diagnosed with something else quite minor by comparison...
you can always talk to us... i'm sure a lot of us have gone through similar scares in our families... and it is always worrying until you know... what i would say to everyone is always go to the doc straight away, as hopefully you get an all clear that will put your mind at rest... and if not the sooner treatment starts the better...

Karen hope the news you get is all good. My ex husband had a tumour removed in 1990 and getting the news is never easy, but luckily he went early and they removed it and he was fortunate not to have to get any further treatment like chemo or radiotherapy. Even if the news is bad, as Theresa says, sooner you know about it sooner you can take action to get rid of it.

I am off scrapping at the Hamilton crop tomorrow all day, so starting my "All about me" album for my 12 year aold niece who has begged me to do her one after seeing two I did for my other nieces for their Christmas ... so much effort and I don't even get to keep it !!!!

Well I can stop worrying it was good news the lump was benign and there is no cancer - I have never cried so much with relief in all my life. Thank you all for you wishes and hopefully DH and myself can get back to normality now -that past week has been terrible - but that is inthe past now!!!!!
