This is a Novelty/Shaped Eyelet Swap. No round eyelets allowed. Each particpant should buy 100 novelty/shaped eyelets (i.e. flower/star shaped) and split them into 10 bags of 10.

Please let the host know what you're buying so everyone is different. Please include a label with your name and address and return postage so the host can send your eyelets back.

There will be 3 groups of 10, if there's enough demand, and that way the host can split up any duplicate themes.

I'm another one who can fill another space if you need the people. Actually, I can do two more and then be in every single group :lol: ;) Have halloween/xmas as one mix (bats, pumpkins, snowflakes, angels, candy canes and gingerbread men); or red hearts (with arrows through), blue ducks and black music notes as a second (bit of an eclectic mix I suppose...) Just if the spaces don't fill up, wouldn't want to steal a space from anyone else.

I would really love to be in the chilli pepper group if possible as it would be perfect for a cooking layout - but if that's too cheeky a request then I'll get what I'm given :D

Right -- I'm back from babysitting, and am going through my eyelets as I type.

I could also do 2 more sets to be in all the groups (and looking at what's up for grabs that seems a wonderful idea if you want to get the places filled quickly).

I've got :-

Large Hearts : mix of pale blue, white, pale pink & darker pink.

Small Hearts : mix of white, pink, red, gold & silver

Baby : mix of blue, pink, white, yellow and pastel green

Christmas : mix of large candy canes, small gingerbread men, white snowflakes, silver snowflakes, white stars, brass stars

Halloween : mix of witches, ghosts, bats

Birds : mix of white doves & yellow ducklings

Mine went in the post today, never realised what a problem getting eyelets locally would be... tried 4 different shops, including Stamp Addicts who must have a zillion different novelty Brads, but not a single pack of anything but round eyelets...

but finally a general craft shop in a garden centre who came up trumps earlier this morning (talk about cutting it fine -sorry:( !) with 4 packs of Snowman eyelets.. hopefully something that was not on your list, as far as I could see, Sam... and I managed to scrounge some little grip seal bags off them too (anyone know where you can buy those?) ...so they went in the post this morning, Sam... hopefully won't upset your plans too much:) !

I get my grip seal bags from a back street stationers near work in Manchester.

The sizes I get range from 80p - £1.50 per 100 dependant on the size of the bags. The smallest are great for eyelets and most brads, although the next size up (still 80p/100) are better for the larger novelty ones. Tend to use the next up again (I think £1/100) for fibres -- with either of the larger two working fine for ribbons, depending on the width/length of the ribbon.

Hi All

No eyelets in the post today so I am hoping they will arrive in the morning and then I will be able to get them sorted out at the weekend and posted first thing on monday.

As mentioned in the first thread I will be sorting them out and not keeping them in any particular group or order as in the list to allow for duplicated eyelets, hope this makes sense.

Just to let you know I have finally managed to sort out all the eyelets and have them all packaged up, envelopes sealed/taped, labels put on if needed, stamps put on them, proof of posting slip done Phewwwwwwwwwww so they will be ready for me to post on monday morning, so from Tuesday ladies get stalking that postie.
