This is a swap designed to give each participant enough paper, card and embellishments to make a DLO. Each participant will then swap their kit with another participant....not a direct swap.

They'll be 3 groups of 10, one for 12x12, one for 8x8 and one for 6x6 pages.

There will be 3 small prizes awarded to the best DLO in each group that is posted on UKS. The panel will be chosen from the Nooby Boobies Team

As noted, this is a swap to give each participant enough goodies to complete a DLO. It's an indirect swap, based on 3 page sizes, 12x12, 8x8 and 6x6.

GUIDELINES FOR GOODY BAG INCLUSION

Cardstock - Minimum of 2-3 sheets to allow for base and matting
Paper - As Above
Tags - No need to decorate
Primas
Ribbon
Brads
Eyelets
Photo Corners
Fibres

The above is just a basic guideline, feel free to choose what embellishments you like. I would suggest spending no more than £5, so raid your stash pots for coordinating pieces for your cardstock and paper! Allow for putting 2 photos per page when choosing embellishments. Again these are just basic guidelines.

Just in case there was any confusion, you are not required to make the DLO leaving room for photos, just include all the items ready for assembly by your swappee. :D

Good question i thought we suggest a theme we would like to recieve that is what i have done anyway as otherwise someone could end up with, for example, a baby boy kit but have no kids.

So my theme of best friends pink & brown was an idea of what i would like to recieve not what i am going to send if that makes sense

Folks it appears I've underestimated the numbers for 12x12...so I'm extending it to 20. i'll shorten 8x8 and 6x6 to 5. if anyone in the other groups want to swap to 12x12 let me know...if we get an empty group I'll extend 12x12 further..if that makes sense? once I ahve all the names we'll discuss the preferences....and hopefully everyone will like what they get... :D Surplus stash is fine...it's what you ahve that would make a DLO for someone else...so bear that in mind. unless someone has a specific idea of what they want...ie baby or best friends...try to make your goody bag as generic as possible....that way it's easier to swap out...

I'm not sure if it's worth sorting out a blinkie. It's only a few weeks until the new sig rules come into force - and after that its going to only be 2 small things each (I'm sure its more complicated than that but I don't really understand these things). It would be a shame for someone to spend time now making a blinkie for it to be of no use in a few weeks.

FOLKS - I have swapped everyone about in the 12 x 12 group so I will need everyone's address to pass it onto your swappees. We have 21 now in the 12x12 group and everyone has a swappee! As far as possible I have tried to take everyone's preferences into consideration. If you are given a swappee with a preference, please try to accomodate it as best you can. Everyone please be aware that in some cases you may not get your preference if your swappee has already purchased their goodies, but hopefully msot people are waiting until they know who they get.

I can't upload anything louise as this is a work PC (although I work from home) I am hoping to treat myself later in the year :lol:

I am quite easy going I don't like pink and frilly or floral type papers .... I don't have kids and I am not in a relationship so not keen on any lovey dovey type stuff ... I do have a dog and I also seem to be using a lot of the natural colours brown green cream and also the retro papers aswell..... I don't really like pink either unless its combined with either black or brown. I do like BG but it always scares me ... but I am hoping to do some home LO's using it soon ... so that would be fine .... other than that I am quite easy going :lol: hope that helps!!

love embellies .... and I love ribbons ... I don't mind fibres but I have lots and only ever seem to use them to top tags with!!!!

Buttons are great and quite universal .... I am also just getting into using hinges and some of the other metals type embellishments ....
