This is a swap for newbies to swaps not necessarily newbies to the site. If you have never taken part in a swap before or have only been in 1 or 2 then this is the swap for you.

There will be up to 3 groups of 10 people and each person needs to choose an embellishment from the list.
I'll explain how many of each embellishment you need to send in my first post. You will then need to spilt it into 10 small bags and send it to me along with either an SAE or address label and 2 1st class stamps for return postage.I'll sort out the goodies and you'll get back 10 bags of all different embellishments.I'll be online everyday to answer any questions about the swap and make it easy as possible.

If you're interested sign into the thread and let me know which embellishment you wish to do, then pm me your name and address.

Send by 21st March in order for completion on 27th March (or as soon as each groups are received)

You need to spend approx £5 on your chosen embellishment and then split it into 10 small bags.

Gill will put you down for rbbon.Its best to keep whats in the 10 bags the same in each one but you can include a couple of different ribbons rather than just the one kind if you like. :D

No it doesn't have to be 1 metre,it will be nice to put a selection in.I always do that in embellishment swaps,I usually get 3 lots of half a metre each of different ones for everyone.Either way is fine.

well I had Broadband problems, hopefully sorted out now, so haven't been able to get online much.
wish I was busy scrapping, but the house and kids seem to need more attention than usual at the moment.
and I have several reports I need to get around to writing.. and the minute of a group I'm secretary for..... not much scrapping going to be done here for a while :lol:

No new LOs for me but have a couple planned when I eventually get time to do them :rolleyes: Got a lovely photo of Brittany at 8 months scanned and copied yesterday so if I get the chance want to do something with that today.Got the social worker coming at 10,managed to at last fill in the carers assesssment form,didn't put much on it though :blink: Don't envy you filling in reports all the time,hate form filling.

unfortunately these aren't form filling Louise. they are written from scratch. have about 10 questons to answer on the first couple of pages... mainly 'yes' or 'no'.. but the body of the report is written by me :blink:

just have to get into a routine Louise. some days I get nothing done either, but as I said I have dh here a lot to help. he probably does more HW than me :lol:
but I have to do all the paperwork related to the kids... and sometimes it feels there is soooo much of that. a lot of carers simply don't do it, but I always feel it's important to get your views across properly - otherwise how can the right decisions be made for the kids???? sorry... one of my many soap boxes :lol:

You can either send another envelope with stamps on and address or just an address label and stamps so I can reuse your envelope.It depends on how strong the envelope you're sending your stuff in is really,if it's a padded one I can easily reuse it. :)

OK then, a label and stamps it is then! I have put all of my bits in a big padded envelope and I will now staple it instead of taping it, that way, it'll be easily reuseable!

Put a piece of acetate on the scanner before you scan, saves wasting the glass top. trick I learnt a work, they hate me coping my stuff, ha ha.
