Here I am again, in a muddle.
I've just looked at the new list (#50) and it says to send to the 5th and 6th below you. Mum2a16yrold is not on that new list and if I send to 5 & 6 I will miss out ellejay. I have already sent to Ann you see.

Looks that way. Who did you send to last month?

I bought my sleeves from WH Smith (am I allowed to say that?) They're the ones children use to store pokomom cards in. I then put the sleeves into a ring binder, which I mean to decorate at some stage.

ladies to be put on th elist you need to have done some trading of ATC's .
there is a picture thread for each month where you upload pictures and then trade , when you have done this for a while then you will be able to be added to the monthly on going list.

there seems to be some confusion who is sending to who! The problem is new people added or people removed.

the thing with michaels system (posting to 5th and 6th on list etc) - it only keeps working if no new people are added at the bottom and no one leaves the list. once you start adding in new members at the bottom, then it throws the system out and you are no longer guaranteed to get your 2 cards every month - some months however - you might get 4 :lol: as long as you remember where you are on the list and post to MINIMUM ( you CAN always send to the next 3 or more - not just 2) the next 2 people on the list every month then it will work out in the end .... you just may NOT get cards every single month in return as it all depends on where on the list people are up to in their own sending order. There is confusion now because lardyboy was added in for march (which is perfectly ok!) and so the people at the top will have been set back by one place..... see what I mean? so unless the list is always the same - we cant really expect to get 2 cards every single month :) as long as people are actually SENDING their 2 cards, thats the main thing - your time will come and you will receieve from everyone eventually.

so... please make sure you are sending to the next 2 people on the list and ignore who everyone else is sending to as its irrelevant - just make sure you send to the NEXT 2 people every time regardless of who else may be sending to them too.

For APRIL i only took some one out i didm't add anyone so am at a loss as to why people are becoming so confused ,
however working on what clare has said (and i could not have written it better or explained it better) everything works out eventually if you just send 2 cards as arranged to who you think is next on your list

Would it work with a monthly list where you sign up for the month and send to the person below:)

It would be easier to see who wants to play and anyone going on holiday or short of time could not sign up when they are busy.

I started the 3 for 3 thread to save postage as you can send 3 for a stamp and therefore save postage.

Hope you dont mind me saying if you would like to do the 3 for 3 I will gladly help :)

i was just going to start a new list for May with names taken off and others added , i dont think it's to hard to sort out as long as everyone on the list just sends 2 cards .

unless everyone wants to change to a list so you send 3 to a different person each month , i dont mind sorting as long as i know what i am sorting

let me know your feelings girl . stick with what we are doing or just send 3 to 1 person each month and i will take it from the majority

It would help if people that signed up, regularly check in and let us know what is happening. Create a new list each month Jean and we just go on down the list. I know who I have sent to and will just send to those I know haven't received from me.

I was happy with the original system, but I think it gets confusing when people are added or taken off the list. Maybe if the list was updated monthly, but is that going to be too much work for someone?
