had a realy embarassing day at work today .We had 10 new engineers come to do 2 days induction with us and i went and split me trouser from the bottom of the waist band to the top of my leg .So it was very drafty around my right cheek area , just glad i had a jumper to tie around my waist to save any more flashing .My 1st thought which knickers am i wearing .

I'm not sure if there's a time limit on keeping stuff on there, but I just re-photo as some are traded and I make more.
I don't think there's a limit on how many you trade. I've done loads, 'cos I love other peoples work.

We all prefer other peoples work :)
You can put as many swaps as you like on your picture i.e. as you can do 5 attatchments you could show say 5x9 45:)
Sometimes if there are more than 9 on a picture you can't see them clearly.

I have loads of swaps if you want a bulk trade I never show all of them as I thought everyone would get fed up :)

I dare not tell you how many I have :)

I received this little beauty from LME today - it's a gorgeous transparent one, but I had to put a sheet of yellow behind it for it to show up it's loveliness in the scan (although, it is SO much nicer IRL) :)

Is any one else feeling a bit intimidated by the swap.....tradings one thing cos people chose what they like but is anyone else a bit apprehensive about just posting out stuff and hoping it will be well recieved :unsure:

Not really Lisa, I figure you can't please all of the people all of the time, but as long as you like it I am sure most people will like it too. Not everyones tastes are the same. It is still nice to see the different materials, textures and techniques used by other people. A major source of inspiration I'd say. :)

i agree mother duck i can honestly every atc card ive had ive treasured every time i walk past my atc album on my shelf i have to have a look allthough ive looked through that album a thousand times every time i open my album i always find a surprise a never noticed before its like a magic box i think i treasure my atcs more than my photo albums lol
think its because my scrapbooks ive done myself but my atcs is what others has took there time to do for me

On the scanner itself or on you pc screen??

Try unplugging everything and just plugging the main in without it connected to pc (if you can) might reset it.

If not and its a UBS powered one, try re-installing the driver software.

Another option which might sound silly but can work if its the scanning unit inside that's jammed or off track. Hold it flat and jiggle it clockwise / anti clockwise motion (gentle) then plug back in.

Its a 3 in 1 copier scanner printer - its a bit awkward to 'jiggle' Hubby checked all the connections and we reset everything but no luck...the error message comes on the actual printer unit. Its says to refer to documentation but the docs dont tell me anything. Its making an awful banging noise when turned on or off and if you open lid you can see the belt jumping violently - think its snagged. its only 5 - 6 months old - ringing epson now :unsure:

Ever felt like a complete twit!
rang epson - went through problems - described noise, said they could hear it over telephone - pressed scan - bloody thing works :angry:
Its gonna be one of them days.....

LOL, I was gonna ask how old and to ring them, but it's worth trying the reset bits first just in case. At least it works, thats the main thing. You should have seen the very first scanner I had. it was 6" deep and took up half my desk. When it got going you thought they were digging the round up outside and it took ages to do just 1 A4 sheet. Those were the days, when you got excited if you PC had a 10 megabyte hard disk inside.

Thanks Caz - got it stuck back on ok. I have my dentists well-trained. every time I start at a new practise (through moving house, not being fussy!) I always go in saying "I know I'm a grown woman, I know it's stupid, but I'm Petrified!" They're ever so nice to me after that :)

lol i have to have my crown re fitted monday as mine came off this afternoon my front tooth too
i was that bad with dentists i now have to be sedated before every treatment im awake but havent a clue whats happening

that's a normal state for my sister :)

one of my dentists used to slap a sticker on my chest for being a brave girl - not sure if he was being nice or pervy ........ I was in my thirties!!

I'm sure I've just seen a list published by Michael showing whos sent to who this month and I can't find it now. It reminded me that I hadn't added the card I received from Mother Duck. I still get muddled with all the ATC threads. :blink:
I'm glad someone else does because I do too!! :blink: We need to bring some together somehow I feel. :unsure:

I liked it when the pictures of the cards for trade were actually on the trading thread. I find it off putting having to go back and forth.

I'm getting there, might reduce the number next month to make it easier.
How about?

1. Monthly Tracker thread, for monthly swap
2. Picture only thread, this is where you put your ATC's to trade.
3. A chat thread, this will cover both the swap and general chat.

Oh no, I feel terrible now. I wasn't having a go. Mike is doing an excellent job. I just meant that I get muddled with where I need to put stuff sometimes, what with monthly swaps and trades. It wasn't meant as a dig Michael. Sorry.
