I finally get it - spent today off ill with the flu and bored with daytime tv thought I would finally give photoshop a try and do a digi lo. 6*6 lo's later and I am hooked - I can see my ink bill going through the roof, but at least I'll be able to tell OH that I'm not buying "yet more patterne paper" LOL

I agree photoshop is addictive isn't it. I have just started to get to grips with what it can do ( started a night class as well to learn some more tricks) so now I am forever rooting round in my pictures for things to play with.
Its good to be able to practice layouts and things, to see what looks good, without spoiling anything if it goes wrong.
Well I only started yesterday and I am having such fun trouble is I NEED to vaccum and there is a pile of ironing but this is so much more fun.
This morning I have been playing around with making my own papers and bits here is a wire word, first time and I loved it

Hope you feel better soon, but have fun with this adictive craft.

Well its like this you see I started with a wire word and ended up making paper and various elements all by myself I am feeling very proud of myself (even if I still haven't got the vaccum out and the cats asleep now so I will just have to carry on playing  ) the LO is in my gallery any comments from more experienced digi scrappers would be gratfully appreciated

Have always been a bit sceptical of digi layouts, cos I love having a physical page at the end of my scrapping bouts, but tried a layout yesterday with photos that I normally would never have scrapped because they were not worth printing...and it looks quite good (even if I do say so myself- not quite plucked up the courage to add it to my gallery yet!). Used a free download kit from 2peas and the colours were perfect. Now I am a big fan of shopping and pp, and when you put the two together....well my poor credit card certainly suffers! But have just discovered shabby princess free downloads- FREE fuel for my pp addiction can't be bad!!! sorry for rambling on but just can't wait for the downloads to finish so I can start playing...

PS the wire word is very cool...can't even imagine at this stage how you would go about creating something like that...
