January week four challenge [Archive]

This weeks challenge is set by the New Crew.
We hope you enjoy it.

Create a layout using the sketch provided 5pts
using :
Something digital - could be text, photos or even digi backgrounds and elements 10 points,
A spring theme (think new starts, new beginnings, new loves etc) but no yellow 5 points
Use a flower/blossom of some description 5pts
Use 3 or more papers 5 points

Since almost all of the New Crew began as paper scrappers and have now tried digital LO's, we have 2 examples of each for you.

The digital element can be anything at all that can be done on the PC - title and journalling are both fine. HTH

Aren't challenge points supposed to add up to 30pts?? I can only count 25:unsure: Or am I being a dippy head this morning?

You dont have to be part of a team to take part in challenges they are inspiration for everyone, but if you want to be part of a team, we have a space.

Here's (http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=62059&cat=503) my attempt. I figure that i got at least 25 points. I did try not to use yellow, and have tried to convince myself that the colour is more orange than yellow. Its all BG Fusion papers, so i'll let you decide!

just wanted to say i really enjoyed doing this, although it took me a while to get going with it. i struggled with photos for the theme bit at first

Thank you for setting this challenge, it's the first one I have attempted. I have uploaded my LO... But will have to re-do the photo as my printer is out of black ink!!!
My poor Kitten looks awful. It is also a pretty poor photo of my LO anyway, so once I have more ink I will upload again!

Had fun attempting this, thanks for inspiring me.

Afraid I didn't manage to use the sketch and only used 2 different papers. I did though have a spring theme - bunnies???? (but used yellow!! :unsure: ), used flowers and digital photos. this is the first weekly challenge I've done in ages so although I failed miserably thanks for spurring me on to have a go! :)

Thanks for a fantastic challenge i enjoyed it and like the sketch so much that as well as the digi lo i did for the challenge i also do a paper lo using the sketch :)
