Details
Signs ups up to and including 1st February and journals to be posted to Kirsty before 28 February. Kirtsy will then swap the Journals and post them out by 7th March. Which gives four weeks from the closing date to make the Journal and post it.

The Journal should be no bigger that A4 size. Can be lined or unlined. You decorate the front and back covers only and leave inside blank

When forwarding the Journals to Kirsty please include a SAE envelope for the return of a Journal.

Completion By:
Send by 28th February in order for completion on 7th March (or as soon as each groups are received)

Any size is fine as long as it is no bigger than A4. There is no minimum or maximum for the pages inside but just please make sure there is quite a few so it is like a notebook (iykwim) and there are enough pages for people to write on and use as a Journal

Phantom a circly journal gets sent round a group of 10 and each person does a LO in the book . A journal, you just decorate the cover and Kirsty will swap them for us, so we do one and get one back. Hope I've explained that right! and hope it makes sense :unsure:

sometimes, when I am lay awake at night, i think of different things to alter, different LO's etc.... so I i will keep mine next to me on my bedside cabinet... ready for those late night inspriational thoughts

Having a panic attack!! Have covered the front and back of my A5 Notebook, but it jsut leaves the spine uncovered and I don't know how to cover it without it going all funny when the book opens!!!

I made a Journal for my sister for Christmas (and my mum and 2 best friends) aswell as matching note books and Diary for my mum ....... Anyway my sister uses hers all the time and calls it her " busy job book" so thats where the idea came from :lol:

Well, I went to Asda's today, put a lovely notebook in my trolley but when I got to the till there was no sticker thing to scan on the book. It was the last item to go through, and a real twit helping me pack who was asked to go find the price of it, he was taking ages and DH was waiting for me in the car, so I left it! :rolleyes: Will hopefully go to town tomorrow to get one.

I know Asda do a lined notebook (journal) and I think the A5 were about £1.50 (I think!!!)

I bought some at Christmas from Big W (woolworths) that were reduced and only cost £1.50 but they were pertfect and lined!!

I've sealed my cover but only because i have a brand new pot of sealer (first one ever in scrap booking :D ) so everything gets sealed right now :lol: :lol: :lol:

I cut out my letter i needed last night from chip board, painted it and of course......sealed it :lol: then printed the quote i am using. Just need to wait for it all to be thoroughly dry before i put it all together then it's ready to post :) .
For my first ever journal i am really chuffed with how it is coming along, but there's still time for things to go wrong :unsure: finger crossed though someone will receive a lovely altered journal ;)

Nellis10, mod podge is, according to some, just the same as PVA glue - you can use it as an adhesive or paint it over something (like a journal cover or chipboard embellie that you have made) to seal it - creates a kind of varnish effect. Am I making sense!?

Works have some lovely journals that are £1.99 and spiral bound, they are very easy to take apart and recover. I did this with mine and found they are much easier to do than a pink pig book,

I am now pretty much over my ten posts so as soon as I've finished my journal off, I'll be ok to send it off - I was beginning to panic - seeing how many people had sent theirs already but I've checked the date so I can relax a bit.

One question though - If everyone was to get their journals in sooner - would you post them on before the deadline???

I would post all the Journals out as soon as I had received them so if they all arrived early I would post them early if that was ok with everyone

Kirsty, I sent the postage stamps yesterday. Forgot all about them and remembered just as I was on my way out of the door, so I quickly scribbled an envelope and stuck them in. I think I wrote my UKS id on the envelope, but just in case I didn't I thought I had better tell you I had sent them. It is 3 x 50p stamps, do you think this will be enough?

Aww thanks Kirsty :) i tried real hard :lol: .
I'm surprised it got to you so quick - i only took it to the post office yesterday and paid for 2nd class delivery (with my funds being short and parcels to post coming out from every bag i own :D ).
I can't wait to get my journal back :D i have decided i am going to use it to actually journal my final year in university leading onto my new life as qualified. I liek the idea of being able to look back in a few years and be reminded how much hard work went into my career and how i started out :wub:.
Anyway - enough of my rantings, hoep everyone is well,
