Keep going Heather - they're great! I like the patterned paper, and how you've connected the mats with a book ring. :)

I agree...Looks great. I was given a pile of beer mats from a friend, who has a friend who manages a pub....Will have to give it a try as it looks so good.

Looks good to me. Am just doing some as well. They are oval and am doing views of Bremen which is where I´m living at the moment. Will join mine with a keyring as well

It could be the new excuse - run out of beer mats to alter so we have to go to the pub.....

Very nice Heather !! Glad you're carrying on with it too - a real inspiration to us all. When you say ' for stripping', are you peeling the top and bottom layers off ? I wouldn't have bothered with this ---- wouldn't it end up lumpy ?

I actually prefer to "strip" them... very theraputic.. lol... .no no lumps with it ... just prefer them bare as some of them have really dark paper/patterns so nicer finish if they are stripped.. each to their own mind.. just a "thing" of mine.. annoy the life out of everyone in the pub when i do this.. lol... sad i know!!
