HI. I had a look at the kit and don't think it's for me, however, I would love a white sharpie pen. I know someone on the other thread asked whether someone else would mind ordering a 2nd pen for them and wonder if I could be cheeky and ask if someone would mind ordering me one and I will reimburse the cost. So if there is anyone contemplating an order, please would you order me an extra pen? :D :D

Someone asked by pm - sorry can't remember who - when it ships?

Apparently they are shipping on the 17th & 18th of this month (due to a holiday on Monday).

Normally they ship on the 16-18th depending on weekends/holidays.

I don't know what I'm gonna do with all that blitzen - I bought a load in Kimmys sale as well! I do love BG tho' and use it loads so that'll be alright.

Did anyone ask Debi what next month might be?

I was trying to find out, and one of the girls I DT with on Scribbles works for them, she said they're def going to the CHA conference at the end of Jan, so looking for something brand new - poss frm My Minds Eye Kaleidascopes line? Anyone seen that?

I stopped getting kits for a while but I like all the embellies and bits you get. I never get to a shop anymore since Scraporium moved out of Luton.

Just have to wait and see I s'pose.

Actually, they seem like really nice people - ever so helpful. I told Debi that we were all crazy for the sharpie pens out here, and she said if there's anything else we're dying to get hold of but can't get here or whatever, I should let them know, and they'll see if they can get it in next months kit!!

So ladies? What are we mad for... what do we NEED? :D

This is going to be the kit!

Its a mixture of all the Orange and Green new My Minds Eye stuff coming out at CHA --dunno the name yet. There is "Pals", "Playful" & "Sunny"...plus two more--"Freinds" and "All about me". On Pals it's the stripes papers....on Playful it's the striped diagonals, and on Sunny it's the orange frame, the bold stripes and the little striped square die cut...... Hey girls the new kit is up on site! Just had a look and it looks more red than orange... but it is orange I know that much, and orange is one of my favourite colours! That tiny clip board is so lovely - mine is def going to get decorated and go on a page.. the thing is can we get more of them?

The answer to that is.. NO! We cannot! :lol: I'm quite excited to get brand new, just released papers, and the bits and bobs as usual, :rolleyes: are looking good. Is anyone going to get the Lunchpail? I'll probably buy more clipboards and chipboard if they go up as extras.

I have emailed Debi a couple of days ago to ask her about the lunch pail and how much the extra shipping will be, but she hasn't replied yet which is really unusual - she normally answers the same day more or less. Because of problems I have had with Paypal (my subscription was cancelled when I had to renew my card details) I'm having to remember to pay her manually, so I need to know how much I'm paying in total and I'm terrified I'm going to miss out on the lunch pail! :unsure:

Jayne - she was out of town at CHA, but I know she's back coz Cathy was trying to catch her about something too. I did manage to get an email to her, after Cathy asked me if I'd heard anything and she cc'd me on her reply to Cath. I don't know why she didn't get her mail, but maybe whatever the problem is, it's happening with you too.

Did you guys see that the kit's up on site? February's kit is there now - at last!!! and it looks flipping scrummy!

I know Debbi's extended the cut off date for ordering to the 17th, so if anyone else wants one they can order it still, but I don't think our postage will be late, coz she's always brilliant about getting the stuff here double quick, isn't she?

I was out with Debra (Queenofstash) at Craftability the other day, and we saw those tiny little clip boards that we're getting in the kit! I fell in love! They're so cute and dinky, but it was £3.00! So I don't think I'll be buying many more at that price...

When I clicked on the pic to enlarge it the DT idea gallery popped up Lol!! There's some nice ideas there if anyone wants a bit of inspiration. How are you all getting on with your sharpies? I used mine on a layout for the Funk It Up Contest and got through...! obviously was the pen that clinched it :lol:

right - who's been following CHA? I've been checking out what's causing the biggest buzz out there and it looks like 'crate papers' are THE new big paperline lol!! There is a website but you need a password that I don't have, but I'm working on getting one :)

Anyway - i've heard they are going to be huge, apparently ALL the rage at CHA, and it's like this... we could have them next month if we wanted to :D

Deb's looking for ideas about what we want - how many kit clubs do that I wonder...? Not many eh? Anyway, she was thinking 3 bugs in a rug, Groovy, which is gorgeous... but if we want to be ahead of the game, we could go for these crate papers. Looking at the site it says there are 5 lines with bits and bobs, tags etc in the collection. I dunno... what do you lot dancy - nice to get a choice isn't it? :D

Can you answer here or let Deb know ? I'm easy, I'd like to see a bit more of these papers, but I'll go with the flow. Also what do we want to try? alterables? what? Let her KNOW!

So glad I am not the onbly one thinks they are for not using, my OH even had the nerve to suggest ahem forgive me whilst I choke here ......... sell some of the kits if I dont use them??? Well, I'm sure you agree that as a scrapbooker shopping online mostly, postage always has to be justified hence the hoards of stash we all have, right? Are you with me so far? Right, who's up for a taster/teaser of what's in APRIL's kit? I've thought about how to do this, as I'm about to log off for the night and didn't want to keep you all waiting for me to answer PMs :) and I hope I don't get in to trouble for doing it this way! You know how Jakey was asking if we were up for cratepaper, well have a look at the aforementioned's website, it's not a co.uk website if you catch my drift?

Now, Deb won't say which papers will be included, (little minx :lol:) but I've gotta say they are so scrummy that I don't mind which and wish it was nearly April, let alone waiting for the March kit!

Oooh I'm so excited! I've got 'a parcel' waiting for me at my mom's and I think it might be the March kit! The downside is my car broke down today so I can't go and get it, I have to wait for brother dearest to get off his backside and bring it to me! Hi everyone, my March Kit arrived this morning and it is gorgeous :wub: . I like Deb's kits as they are always well planned and they give you the opportunity to use different papers and cardstock that perhaps you wouldn't naturally go for, I love the colours in this one B) , can't wait to play :P ...........................Sharon x

Thanx Jayne for your concern, i'm back to normal now, thank God! I seemed to feel groggy for an age!!........I even used some of my gorgeous Feb kit today & really love the quality of those papers!

I've heard the new Crate papers are even better quality & really nice to work with, so maybe we could get Deb to seriously consider these for our April kit!???........what da you's think??

Ok I spoke to Deb - she said she's terribly sorry that some of us are without the cover, and if you let her know who you are she will make sure we get one in our next kit. She has a rough idea as she only had the helper one day, but just drop her an email telling her and she'll get it sorted. Is that ok?

Alright......!! While we were talking she dropped a few little hints about April! Crate paper we asked for and crate paper it is! Deb said the texture of this stuff is unreal! And the kits are practically all sold so if you know anyone who's thinking about it tell them to get in quick, because they are flying out. We're not the only ones desperate to get our inky little paws on it apparently! You can look at the sneaky peek on the website to see that we're getting New Garden, but it's the featured item I'm gagging for.....

I think this is the nicest kit so far :wub: , but I NEED those flowers to go with it you know?:lol:

I'm like you Sharon, I haven't used Feb and March's either, glad I'm not alone :D I've just contacted Deb about the stamps, but can't make up my mind about the others yet for the same reasons you give, I don't know if my limited budget can really justify papers when I'm not using what I've got... but they're so nice ..... I'll have to have a good think and maybe give up something else, like eating or something! :lol:

I have - if you wanna follow below link, it shows in the description an accordian book I made with those. I just measured some cardstock, folded it into accordian style and covered with paper

I've had a chat with Deb, and she says we should all go ahead and sign up. She's still very involved and I don't think she'd let any of us be let down. She really thinks a lot of Heidi, and reckons we are safe but obviously it's up toyou all to decide for yourselves. Cathy and I have both been over to the new site and joined. Deb says there's gonna be lots going on so maybe we will get a chance to win free stuff!! Not going to say no to that! ;)

I think Heidi charges actual postage, but that's ok with me, I'm going to give it a go anyway. Debs still going to be sharing in the designs of the kits, and we have a while to make up our minds.

There's also a DT call by the look of it :) Can't hurt to have a go, eh?
