Well here it is, the Scrap Goddesses first weekly challenge :) I hope you enjoy it!

January 13th is “make your dreams come true” day. We would like you to scrap YOUR dreams - it can be your dreams for the future or maybe even a dream that you’ve had come true.

Having your dreams as a theme - 10 points
Scrapping a picture of yourself - 5 points
Using vellum/transparencies - 5 points
Not using a list (a chance to try some imaginative journalling) - 5 points
Making a hand-made embellishment - 5 points

A very timely challenge for me - as we have just had a major decision making time in our household and I have been able to journal my feelings and hopes about the decisions made. The decisions were about schools and moving to catchment areas or not.

My lo is in my gallery.

Julie - thank you for participating in our challenge.

Your LO is stunning - the fusion papers go so well with acetate coloured with alcohol inks. I'd never have thought about colouring acetates with them! I might have to steal that idea ;)

okay here is my lo... be very gentle with me as it is only my fifth ever (5th) and the first i have shown outside my team...

the cardstock is junkitz home bouquet, the vellum is by barking dog, the tag is by me... my dreams are journaled inside the tag and molly our labrador is a living dream as we had talked of getting her for almost twenty years...

ps as well as being new to scrapping i am new to digital photography....!!!!

Thanks for the challenge... I was a little unsure whether I liked this one when I first read it... but I have just completed my LO and I love it!!!

My dreams for 2006 = 10 points
Photo of me with DS = 5 points
Hidden message to DS on heart shape tag = 5 points
Vellumquote on front of tag = 5 points
Hand made haert embellishment = 5 points

Did a digital layout but made a paper rossette with t-bag folding to use and scanned it in. Have loaded it into my gallery. (My Dream)

Have just uploaded my effort to my gallery, still very new to scrapping but am learning to enjoy it now and not be so worried about what I'm doing !! Managed to incorporate most of the points but the handmade embellishment - there wasnt really room for it!!
