Could I be cheeky, and ask a favour?

I am trying to trace my Aunt and Uncle. There names are;

Emily Wardop (nee Shackleton), my aunt, my moms sister, born around 1925

Chalres Wardrop, my Uncle by marriage, orginally from WhiteFish Falls, Ontario, Canada

My Uncle was in the Canadian Airforce, they met in England, and flown back to Ontario, Canada around 1941.

This is the only info i can find, my mom was only 5 years old when they went, i would be grateful of any help, how ever small.

I am sorry I can't offer any help, but I have the same problem and am interested in how you could trace someone living.

Does anyone have any experience or ideas as to how you would trace someone living or who may have recently died?

You could try the Canadian White Pages. I just put the surname in and the province and it came back with 67 results. It might be worth a try anyway :)

yes was going to say the same thing. Chances are they are still in Ontario as our province would fit Englad in it 1 1/2 times lol so we do travel far and wide but tend to stay where we are family based. All My family for example lives in Ontario but very far spread. I will check all my local phone books as well you just never know! I believe White Fish Falls is a very very small community in Northern Ontario not sure though will check it out for you.

Apparently White Fish Fall was a logging company? or there was a logging company near by? It was owed and ran by Charles's family?

its much further North than our summer cottage which is also of of highway 6. I am going to do a hunt for that family name now and see what I can come up with.

I've managed to come up with 71 possibilities, I just wish i had more info on them. I know they have about 5 children, but i have no idea of their names.
