I was introduced to altered art By Dyan Reavely and Cath (of Katy's Corner fame). Ive seen lots of Janes inspiring work and Clare Borwn come to that - Im totally hooked and feel like Ive been doing it for years (even though I have just completed my first set of 3 ATC's). MGC has a magnificent range of stamps and ATC's already - I wubs her for kick starting me into it!
I was lucky that within hours I had swapped my first set (on another forum and via my blog). Im so compelled, Im doing another set of 3 tonight and Im making a mini picture book out of old wooden rulers. So who is gonna tell me thats been done before? If it has, id love to see some inspiration.

they are old plain school rulers - bit worn but nice looking. The hinged ones would make great picture art as tims inks work so well with old wood.
Hub needs to bandsaw them down into 10cms lengths for me before i start using timmies fabbo stinky inkies then he gonna drill me a hole in each end for me to feet these fat fabbo eyelets through but then again - i thinks i might actually hand chisel a hole through them or use those net curtian hooks in the end....to many chouces!. I think i really want to snap the rulers to give that wonderful raw edge but I have a little girl who might decide to poke her eyes out with the spikes (IYKWIM!)

Oh they sound wonderful - would definitely be dangerous if you snapped them!

OMG Kirsty I can't believe that TOTALLY ADORABLE STINKIN' CUTE wallet you made for the ATC's.....I think that just converted me into putting ATC's on my to-do-list (and the wallet to go with it)
