Here we are ladies - get chatting!

As soon as you’ve reached 10 posts would you mind using the PM Facility to chat so that this forum doesn’t get clogged with lots of threads? Let me know when this happens or you’ve already reached 10 posts and I’ll delete the thread.

Thank you and have fun.

oh hello !!!!! Well, what a coincidence !!!! :) I've just thought of something else I needed to ask you - how do I find a thread that I was looking at a few days ago? I can't remember who posted it originally, but someone was asking about how best to display baby scan photos and one of the ladies had put a link to one of her pictures which was absolutely fantastic - I've been trying to find it again, but with no luck :( Is there a search facility available? I don't think the lady put the picture in the gallery - it seemed to be a link to somewhere else.

I promise not to hassle you anymore today - my little girl is crying, so need to go and sort her out.

Sarah :)

i think this (http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk/boards/showthread.php?t=88401&highlight=baby+scans) is the thread you are looking for :)
If you have posted in a thread its easy to find.. you go usercp and on the mainpage you will see all the latest active threads, if it says "no threads to display" just click on "show all threads" in the right bottom corner and you will see a list of all your subscribed threads (answering in one will automatically subscribe you)...
For the babyscan thread you use the search facility at the top... just click search and then enter your criteria (i.e. keywords, member name etc.) and you will get the results

hiya

Nice to hear from you again.

Well I was having a good week until I got a call from our estate agent this morning saying our buyers had dropped out. Arghhh - I was so cross. Well, actually I was fuming. I'm surprised steam wasn't coming out of my ears !!! The estate agents are confident that we'll get another buyer real soon though (but then they would say that wouldn't they ??!!) I'm too scared to tell the people we're buying from in case they decide to put their house back on the market. There is absolutely no way that I'm going to let them sell their house to someone else - mentally I've moved all our furniture into that house, redecorated the rooms and even planned out the new kitchen !!!

Anyway - enough ranting from me ... sorry.

Hope you've had a good day. When do your children go back to school? My aren't old enough for school yet, although Sam my eldest goes to pre school/nursery 2 days a week. Which school do yours go to?

Speak later

ohh hi hun...

didnt realise that the higher powers left our thread here :) so i guess ill answer here as well.. hope youre having a good weekend and that the people who viewed your house put in an offer now :) its horrid when these big deals go pear shaped... well ive got everything crossed for you :)

its been a rather busy weekend here what with cj's bday and us taking him to various promised venues.. he absolutely loved the racing track and proved a total natural at it.. even the guys who work there came over to us to ask where he usually goes ... they were gobsmacked when we told them it was his first time ever behind a wheel... he was soooo pleased with himself...

right then im ramblin' now.. off to catch the next bit of invasion... see you during the week

Hi Nicky

Thanks for your note - sounds like you've had a busy weekend - the great thing about having kids is that you get to be a kid yourself all over again - don't you just love it !!!!

We were at a 40th birthday bash last night which was really great - trouble was I drank far too much and had the mother of all hangovers this morning - not good when you've got a 3 year old who insists on getting up at 6.30am and refuses to leave you alone until you've got out of bed !! Added to that we had 2 viewings on the house this morning (they both seemed quite keen, but I guess you never can tell). Both of them have sold, and one couple have sold to a cash buyer who needs to move quickly, so fingers crossed they'll put in an offer. I've got to break the news to the people we're buying from tomorrow and I'm starting to panic in case they decide not to move from their house.

I popped into the craft place on Waterhouse (remembered not to mention the name !!!!) on Saturday because they've got a sale on and it wasn't very good. I know I didn't really know what I was looking for and having my 3 year old with me constantly asking "what's this mummy?" didn't really help, but I didn't see any 12x12 paper, they only had a few buttons and no tags at all !!! What a waste of time that was. I also went into the Mill last week, spent a fair amount of money then came home and realised I could have bought exactly the same stuff on ebay for less than half the price ! Durrr. I'm going to Hobbycraft on Wednesday to see if they've got any 12x12 box frames and I'm going to buy a stack of stuff from Artbase as well because they seem really reasonable.

Anyway, have a great week and look forward to catching up again soon.

Sarah x
