The Scrapdoodles are aware that everybody is busy this time of year, and no doubt some people are getting fed up of the Christmas season! So we want to give you a break from Christmas this week, and have designed a nice simple challenge for you ...
We challenge you to scrap a place (rather than a person!)(10pts)
Use the attached sketch to inspire your LO (10pts) - don't forget you can turn it round!
Use photo anchors (5pts)
"Frame" your page with a border of cardstock (5pts)
and here's Jackie's example (http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=31872&cat=500&ppuser=2897)

I don't think it can be that one - there are no photo anchors, it doesnt follow the sketch and she mentions having missed off the envelope part of the challenge! Plus she uploaded that in October.
I've just had a look through Jackies gallery and found this (http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=31872&cat=500&ppuser=2897&sortby=d&way=desc) LO. looks just like the sketch.

Is a room a place? Interpret any way you choose ....
If you want to scrap your favourite arm chair then go ahead ;)

This looks like a good thing to get a novice going

OOo I love the look of this...thanks for keeping it simple...this is JUST the kind of LO I need to start practicing so that I am not faffing around for hours!!! I just need to think what pics I MIGHT have of a place....would prefer to use one of my own if I can...if not I will print something special from the net.
Jackie your example LO is GORGEOUS!! I just adore the colours and papers you have used! Into my faves!!

Thanks for this challenge, I have enjoyed doing this, and it has eased me back into scrapping at the beginning of the New Year. I haven't done many challenges recently, and I hope to do many more this year.
I went away to Thoresby Hall in Notts, for a "Twixmas" break, (between Christmas and New Year), imagine my delight, when we arrived and it was covered in snow!!!! We had quite a snowfall on the 27th and this photo was taken on the 28th, when we went for a walk on the Thorseby Estate.
Here is the link to my attempt, I have just realised that this is the photo I am using as my avatar at the moment too!!!!!

I don't know if this is the place too do this, but I saw this challenge and just had to do it. I just loved it so much. I'm not part of a team or house or something like that, but here's my layout.
Thanks again!

I haven't done one of these challenges for months, so here (http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=60079&cat=2) is mine. I used the place idea and the photo anchors, but had already started the LO, so couldn't do much with the design template, and my photo was too large for it really.
Thanks for the challenge, I must loook out for the next one. :)

If I don't use the strip across the top of the page do I still get the full points?
I guess it doesnt need to be a strip of paper but I think you need something to say you followed the sketch - could be a pen line or fibre or ribbon...........
