Good thanks!! What a surprise, i didn't think i'd be adopted for quite a while.
Here's a bit about me... I'm 22 and i live in London with my boyfriend, Kenny. We've been together for 3 and a half years and we live in Soho, which is great as our street joins onto Oxford Street! (Although it's not that good as there are no craft shops anywhere near, which is odd.) I've lived here for 5 years and am originally from up north - a little town called Newton Aycliffe. I'm actually going home for Christmas on Thursday for a week, which i am very excited about. (and it has nothing to do with the fact there's an amazing craft shop there!)
I'm a cardmaker but really want to get into scrapbooking. I want to make an album to keep at my nannas house and would like to dedicate a page to every member of my family so that visitors can look in it. I just think it would be really nice and it would be something i could keep adding to with each new addition!
I have to say that i am a complete beginner and have no clue where to start. As i've been looking on this board things are starting to make sense.
I am going along to a crop in February so am not sure if i should hold off attempting to start one until then? What do you think?
Oh and tell me a bit about yourself! :)

hmmm, first thing is you have so many cool online shops ( scroll right down to the bottom of the page) lily-my-lovely works in oxford street so she may know of any shops you havent found yet. id suggest between now and feb, take a look st the gallery ( red button at the top) and have a mooch about. i garantee you wont wait till feb to buy stuff and get going!.
you will need cardstock - thats basic flat or patterened card that you can stick things on to. you will need some way of sticking it on - i use hermafix dots. there is double sided tape too or pritt stick but that does dry out so the purists dont use it. then you will need photos.
thats abotu it really. you can buy all the other kit too in time ( i did :P) but all you will really need is a way of cutting a straight line. i have the rotatrim edgemaster 300 it cos abotu £65 but was worth it and i dont use anythig else now.
you can get a reasonable a4 trimmer for about £15 in stapes tho. while you are there pick up some bookrings, you will want some of those eventually when you start making your own albums and mini books
about me. hmmm im tracey, 30, married to wayne ( no we dont have the sticker on the windsheild but we thought about it!) got two kids dd ( dear daughter) aged 3 and ds ( dear son) aged 5. they drive me crazy! i am a sahm ( stay at home mum) and you would think i would get more scrapping done wouldnt you! i have about 9 albums, three of which are 3" thick, i scrap kind of fast when i get going :P
what crop are you going to?
