This swap is for anyone who'd like to get a collection of ribbons. Each member should buy 10 metres of ribbon and split it into 10 bags.

Let baylie know what you're buying so we can keep everyone different! Label them with your UKScrappers name and your group number, and then send them to baylie for swapping. Please aso include a SAE with your address on it so I can send the ribbon back to you.

I'll do 3 groups of 10, if there's enough demand.

Completion By:
Send by 22nd January 2006 in order for completion on 31th January 2006 (or as soon as each groups are received)

my ribbon is 2cm wide a is a dusky pink colour with a slightly ribbed texture.

Am going to cut it up as soon as i can find my tape measure (this may take an hour or to as the state of my craft room is awful at the moment - i have just uncovered a necklace i thought had landed in the bin a couple of weeks ago!!)

ps the ribbon is all still on the roll so is it not untidy or creased (just incase you were getting worried!)

I am thinking of doing a random swap too. So you all send in 9 metres of ribbon (all the same or different) then i will distribute it so that you don't get what you sent in.

It might be a good idea to get rid of ribbons you don;t have much of and don't want or ones you ahve been swapped that you just won't use.........is this mad or a good idea?

Baylie, I think it's an excellent idea ... however, bearing in mind you've got 5 groups going already, might it not make things a tad more complicated for you? Sorting out 50 loads of ribbons to send out would surely be bad enough!

I ahve 49 people for this one so need one more then i can close it. I ahve a big box to collect all the ribbons in and once i recieve them all will spend an evening doing the sorting (lounge floor here i come)

I am super organised so it will no doubt be fun.

Also.....as the colour theme originally thought of is proving difficult can anyone suggest a theme for the next one?

One Idea I did have was to do a ribbon and either button, eyelet or tags swap.
So you supply 1 metres of ribbon, matching buttons, eyelets or tags. And do this 10 times........so like a normal swap but with anothe rembellie to match it.

Not sure it would work out or if anyine would be interested.....or should we just do another plain old ribbon swap like this one???? Feedback wanted..

group 1 strip ribbon group 2 spot ribbon and everybody in the group sends in different colours of that type of ribbon, (does that make sense) as i said its just an idea
