No plain ribbon allowed. This swap is for anyone who'd like to get a collection of fancy fibre. Each member should buy sufficient fancy fibre to cut up into 1 mtr strips and put it into 10 seperate bags. (10 mtrs needed in total)

Let DebU know what you're buying so we can keep everyone different! Please label the bags with your UKScrappers name and your group number, and then send them to DebU. who will do the rest. Please include a label with your name and address and a SAE envelope!).

I'll do a maximum of 3 groups of 10, if there's enough demand and that way I can split up any duplicate themes..

Hi everyone - another fibre swap - the places usually fill up pretty quickly on these dont they!!

Please be patient with me though as this is my first swap as a host. I will PM you my details and keep this first post up to date with who's taking part.

I am happy to run up to 3 groups of 10 if there is sufficient interest.

Hopefully we will all be in receipt of some really funky fibres at the end of this swap.

Hi Deb, (Newbie alert! sorry this is my first fibre swap) I PM'd you yesterday about my confused state with groups and colours etc. Can you just clear that up for me please? I just want to know does one group = 1 set of a chosen colour? If it does and all the other groups are full now, which of the three colours, that I've PM'd you with, do you think would be more useful to you? If you have no preference I'll PM you with the nicest.

hi deb - posted my fibres an hour ago....

just to let the people in group three know... i managed to make a mistake cutting my fibre... managed to cut it into 11 strips of 90cm...! so i have also included in each bag with the 90cm of toucan boa fibre a 25cm piece of either ostrich boa, parrot boa or cardinal boa fibre....

total disaster day so far... first i discovered that... :unsure:

then i managed to hit myself in the eye with a jiffy bag whilst packaging them up...! (don't ask how...) luckily it was a "white" part of the eye rather than a "coloured" part but it is giving me gip... :unsure:

then whilst out at the post office posting them i managed to lose one of my favourite gloves... sigh... i do hope that is my three bits of bad luck and no more.... :unsure:

I'm sorry to hear that my swap has caused you physical injuries and also loosing your favorite glove is not good!

I suggest that you sit in front of your pc for the rest of the day shopping in all of the online sales!!!!! You cant get into any more problems that way!

hi debs thanks for the good wishes... unfortunatly i had another disaster last night...! at 5pm i took our labrador around the block.... there was an inch of snow - but it was crisp and crunchy and easy to walk on... then i came to a house where someone had decided to chuck water on it.... suprisingly it had frozen into solid ice... result being i fell with my left leg under me at a strange angle.... i havn't broken any thing but it is painful and keeps "buckling" under me.... so a quite few days for me i think...
only problem is ds will be expecting me to have snowball fights etc today....

Hey meant to ask you, have you decided on a storage solution for your ribbons/fibres yet? Remember the piccie on here of someones spice rack? I saw one in a local shop to me last week and was umming and ahhing whether to go for that idea?? What you reckon?? Or have you found a better idea?

Hi everyone....

Great news....
Group 3 has completed today
Group 1 - only needs 1 set which I am collecting tomorrow off Scrappy
Group 2 - only needs 2 - 1 of which Scrappy is giving me tomorrow the other is from Kel - (mulicoloured pastel fibre) - as soon as I recieve these I am ready to send.

I will sort our Group 3 tomorrow evening when I get back from a crop and post out on Sunday so you should receive them early next week.
