I've been in a huge design frump lately. My mini Christmas kit was a huge disappointment for me which is why I've not put a kit up at my site since the Teen Kit.

I know many sites do like a collaboration, and I was wondering if anyone felt up for a challenge. Kinda like a "swap" really as everyone designs items and we put it all together to make a big kit.

We'd pick a theme to suit everyone (or just a "general" theme with flowers or a certain something on it) and have a colour swatch to work by.

Would anyone be up for this? Even if you've never designed elements or papers before you could join in cos we'd all lend the support and point you in the right direction.

oooh, sounds interesting... could do something over christmas or in the new year, as long as the deadline wasn't too tight! Never designed before, so would need a bit of help, but it sounds like fun...

We could have like a month or so to design. Not too tight a schedule, and it would be only what you could manage. It's supposed to be a fun and learning experience

cool, count me in... hmmm, some ideas - how about a spring theme (to cheer us up for the new year), or party theme (to scrap our xmas/new year pics to)?

er ... I don't know what I'm letting myself in for but I could try something. I'm very good at doing as I am told, if that helps

I'm up for it. How about some Xmasy type things which we could use for our pics over the holiday. Maybe something non traditional like black, white, pink and silver? or just something that is quite wintry. Not too bothered as I just love to play and design.

Well I think I'll get the whole thing done properly and have our own thread in Swaps... Because it would kinda be a swap really wouldn't it?

Ooo, Mandy, I like your idea too. Mayeb everyone should suggest things and we put it to the vote.

I'd like to have joing also, please. I haven't been doing much digi-scrapping lately and I think a challenge like that will put me back in the right direction.

Another suggestion, if we all want to learn some new digi tricks, when we've designed our whatyamacallits then we could do a short tutorial explaining how we made it.

Alright so when are we going to start. I'd like to get at it this weekend if possible because I don't think most of us would have much time from next week. Let me know what you think folks.

I don't know if we have to announce it as an actual swap or shall we just carry on, as we'll all be designing bits and it doesn't really matter if anyone can't keep their end of making a kit or not.

I will start a thread with a vote on which theme we shall choose :) I'll try and find a colour swatch from Scrapbook Bytes that will match the over all theme.

I'd love to try as well - if its not too tight a deadline (we're moving to Cnanda in march and all our stuff has to be packed to be taken on 3 Jan! - keeping the computer though so ideal opportunity to get to grips with digi-scrapping!..this sounds like a great way to learn - will need so support or pointers though please.

Nope you're not too late, we're just kinda doing a free for all for this one lol. Just do what you can.

There's a swatch in the other thread somewhere lol.
