I am using craftrobo with another program. The program recognizes craft robo as a plotter. Can I cut without guidelines? Does anyone else use this craft robo with other programs?

Hi

What program are you using? I haven't tried any other programs yet but it may be worth looking into for me as my son already has CAD programs installed which he uses for work. Mind you - I have seen him using them and they are nowhere near as easy to use as Robomaster.

yes, you can cut without guidelines.
You can cut from most programs that create VECTOR images rather than Raster ones - cad type programs should work.

I use it with Illustrator and I used it with Word before that. You can also cut some PDF files from Adobe reader as long as they are vector drawings. Some people use Corel draw. It doesn't do any harm to try and cut from other programs.

What do you mean by 'guidelines'?
