Details
This swap is to get a nice selection of Bazzill or other similar chipboard shapes, without being stuck with 30-odd of one size. They seem to come in numbers that can be divided by 5 so Ali will run groups of 5.

eg.
1) Big Circles
2) small squares
3) ovals etc.etc.

Let Ali know what you're buying so she can keep every one different! Label them with your UKScrappers name and your group number, and then send them to Ali and she'll do the rest (Please also a lable with your name and address and return postage).

I got mine from Scrap Magic who I think are sponsors on here, but I'll have a trawl about and see who stocks them. You could always put a note in the shop til you drop forum and see who is stocking them at the moment.

Becs, basically the packs seem to be around the same price, so if you get bigger ones there are fewer in the pack but that's fine. We each get the same selection having spent the same money.

Patty, they are just shaped cardboard pieces, quite thick and grey. Please feel free to join in if you wish.

I'm going to egt mine bought today. Can anyone in the group tell me (as i dont think ali is around today)... some packs have in 20 some 40! if i get a pack with 40 in is that too many and does it mean i will get 40 back but some people may end up with lots of my shape... hope this makes sense?!?! lol

I think we just send the pack and ali will divide the pack into 5 so if there's 20 in a pack we'll get 4 of that shape and if there's 40 we'll get 8 of that shape but we all end up paying the same amount.

The packs with more in are smaller chips so, you'll get a mix of chips back big and small - more of each of the smaller ones. eg splitting a 20 pack and a 40 pack between 2 of us would give us 10 big each and 20 small each etc. So you won't necessarily get 40 back but will get a min of the number in the smallest pack.

Got chips, still got Italy embellies I promised! Too too busy for anything. Can either: drop them off with you one night this week or: I am in Cheam on Friday from 4-8pm doing the open evening, it's quite nice to wander around, they have all the shops open and people selling hot chestnuts on the street (maybe you've been before anyway!). LMK what's good for you, and also when you've got all the chips and we can arrange to exchange!!

Yes, they are poker chips. Careful if you use a heat gun on them - they melt :( - as I discovered when I tried to UTEE one a bit too much!

Well, you can paint them or cover them with paper then stick letters or stickers, or stamp and emboss or not as you choose, glitter them, use foil art or magic stuff (can't remember what it is called!) then cover them with glossy accents or diamond glaze or UTEE. Does that give you some ideas. I think Clare did a bit on them in her Star Wars LO class to make letter tabs. I used them on a couple of my LOs in the gallery. Does that help a bit?
