Can't believe this year has got to here already!
Please let me know If you are coming and what you would like to bring along in the way of food or drink.
Also do we want a bran tub along the lines of what we did for the birthday party or have we too many prezzies to buy already? Lets have a poll.
could someone bring a CD player and some Christmassy toons?
Any other suggestions??

Yum :P
FruitBat
24-11-2005, 07:50 PM
The date is the 11th December - enough time to make those last minute gifts etc!
I'm happy to go with the £5.00 spend on a bran tub. Same rules as last time, you gotta fetch one to 'cetch' one!!
Don't think I can do another poll but perhaps if we all pm Chris repeatedly on a daily basis until she agrees that may do the trick?
Oh and Chris, possibly the recipe to pass on so next time we can have a Chris' Carrot Cake Competition.

Not sure I will be there tomorrow either as Mick is at Sunderland on a course until about 5.30 so God knows what time he'll be back, and then we have a poorly babe here who is covered with chickenpox. He is over the worst but looks a sight!
I could do with coming along though, got a few things to finish off.

Oh nearly forgot must tell everyone, just got myself a new printer to go with my new camera, it was compulsory I suppose!!! Prints photo's brilliant, I just found the receipt for the other one and I've had it 8 years, no wonder my photo's were rubbish. Not sure if it will improve my page making skills but at least the photos will look better.

Really looking forward to Sunday.
Bye for now

Just got back from a weekend in essex so we are shattered.
not been on a while - computer problems (it switched itself of and smelt of burning - not usually a good thin g for pcs) apparently the power pack had a fit and it appears to have taken out the hard drive as well so we now have a new pc and are in the process of putting stuff back on.
will be at christmas crop, yes to bran tub (will try harder this time although where I shall find the time) and will bring along some savoury things quiche etc
see you there

Sorry i haven't posted this week, we have had poorly peeps here again. Just got chicken pox out the way and a sickness bug hits everyone except me! Hopefully I'm made of sterner stuff and it doesn't get me at the weekend!
I have just spoken to Julie at The Buffalo centre who rang to tell me that the heating downstairs is broken (something to do with the control box) and would we be able to use the upstairs rooom instaed.
The lift is working so we can use that to take boxes up etc. The kitchen is still available but obviously we may need to make up flasks for tea/coffee and bring up anything we need for food.
I will be there from about 9.30am to set things up if anyone would like to come down a bit earlier to help out.

Chris K - will Hannah be coming too? I just want to get an idea of numbers for tables to put out.
Also would someone else be able to bring along a sizzix - I now have so many boxes to bring it would be a big help to me.
I was at kates today and she won't be opening tomorow unfortunately as she has other arrangements. By the way she currently has her Xmas stamps selling at 99p each!! Including big ones. I had to take her up on that offer!
Haven't been out for supplies as yet - looks like a trip to asda later tonight now as dh has gone off to the match and then we have to take Jordan to a party when he comes home. Alexander is still poorly with a tummy bug- hey ho It's Christmas!
Was someone offering to bring a CD player & Christmas cd's??
And don't forget to bring some swaps - I enjoyed having new things to play with last time.

Hi everyone, I've eventually got something to bring (eat) - filo brie and cranberry parcels, sounds nice, but the proof will be in the tasting. I'll try and get there sharp but off out tonight again, was out last night with the guys from work so I'm a bit bushed, and my DH and DS decided to tidy up DS bedroom and there's mess all over the place!!!! HELP!!! cannot wait to escape tomorrow.
See you all soon.. Merry Christmas.. Jackie
Ive got the mince pies and cream, well actually if the truth be known I had to go out and get another box today as we couldnt resist opening the box I had already got in. Im just finishing off a few Christmas Cards for work, then I'll pack my trolley so im all prepared. Really looking forward to tomorrow, some me time for a change
See you all then.

Don't know if anyone will see this message before tomorrow but I have spent the afternoon/evening suffering from sickness etc. Jordan had to come home from his party with the same thing too.
Not sure how I will feel in the morning but will try to get down with the box and keys and The CJ etc if nothing else. Didn't get to Asda either so I'm afraid I'll leave it as I'll see you if I see you - SORRY.

Hello Theresa welcome to our crop chat, we meet every 4 weeks you can come along for as little or as long as you like and you don't have to be there every time, we are a very flexible friendly group so if you would like to join us, just come along.
Jackie
Hi Theresa,
Welcome to the thread, just like Jackie said we are an easy going friendly crowd. Never say never about the crop, you might just make one of them. Its great meeting up with like minded people and sharing ideas and inspiration.
Looking forward to getting to know you.
Ann
It is so quiet on here......? Have you all deserted the cause LOL ???
The girls had a great time at the crop although I was a bit worried about the amount of thudding from upstairs.
Girls have had a great christmas and Bethany also celebrated a birthday.
I think the next crop is on January 8 - is this right and has there been a new thread set up for it.
See you at the next crop
