Hey girls - my husband said I could get a craft robo for Xmas - just wanted to check that everyone is happy with theirs and is being used and not gathering dust.

Any advice, encouragement or negative comments appreciated.

Thanks

Amanda

Simple answer - I love mine!! I've only had it up and running two days and I've been practising so much stuff! Best bit of advice is ignore the instructions in the box - after you've installed it - and download Bev's tutorial. Firt thing I cut was a title following her easy-to-follow guide and basically, if I can do it then anyone can

Also, buy from The Scrapbooklady (sponsor on here) and you get the bonus of Loyalty points to spend on stash which means a DOUBLE christmas present!

Go for it. Have had mine for eight months now and use it all the time The more you use it the more things you find to do with it. When you get it follow the tutorials on this site to start with and you will soon be loving it!.

Hi Amanda...

If it gets there early... tell DH that you need to try it first to make sure its ok.. (cause if not it needs sending back before xmas....lol) and then tell him you can test it making christmas cards etc...

Then.. just forget to put it back in the box.. :D

Yes it arrived on Wednesday and I asked my husband if I had to wait for Xmas to open it, thinking he would say no you have to wait. To my surprise he said 'okay you can have it now'. I was a bit disappointed as it was a bit too easy. So instead I handed it to him and said 'no it's okay wrap it up'. I think he is using reverse psychology on me. Now I'm driving myself mad thinking about it wishing I had said 'okay I have it now'. Never mind, I've been so busy lately that I don't think I will have time to use it before Xmas.

Definitely mad. How can you bear to wait????? You're a better man than me. My daughter came back from a holiday in India today and asked me do I want some pressies now and some for Christmas. No contest. I had them all now.

I know I am so tempted - I found it and opened the box for a look. My husband is so oblivious to what goes on around him that I think I will set it up in my scrapbooking room put a few books in the box and seal it up again and let him wrap that - he would never know the difference. You are a wicked lot leading me into tempatation.
