Hi there
I have been browsing about the digi pages and come to the conclusion that I`d love to try it, but have no idea where to start. I need to learn the basics as I`m not very technically minded duhh lol, so please can you help me!!! :)
I used PSP7 before but just to edit my pics, had no idea it did anything else, now I have a new PC I haven`t got it as it was already on the pc when I got that one. Please advise what I need to start me off digi scrapping!!!!!!!!!
Thanks in anticipation

Hi Jackie
From your message I take it that you no longer have psp7 and are looking for something to replace it on your new PC so you can digi scrap?
there are lots of free software trials about so you can determine which will be best for you
here are some links to free trial software (http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satellite?pagename=Corel3/Downloads/Trials)

Hi all
Thanks very much for your help , hey debra yes you are right, sorry my message did seem a bit confusing now I`ve read it.
My old PCs hard drive went up the shoot, so I lost it with everything else I had on my pc. The old PC came with PSP7 on it, so I didnt have the disk, and I`ve lost contact with the person I bought it from.
The only photo editing I have now, came with my digi camera which is a Canon PowerShot A400. the software that came with it is Arcsoft Photo impression 5, dont know if I could use that or not!!!!!!!!

Hi Jackie
You should be able to create layouts with that software using the preloaded backgrounds and clipart etc. I think, I am not sure if you will be able to use other digital kits or backgrounds and stuff though, the software I got with one of my digital cameras can be used to create layouts as long as you stick to the backgrounds available in the software but it uses different sizing and resolution to normal digi kit files, so the same might apply with yours, but it could be a great place to start learning!
Digi kits are normally huge files which need powerful graphics programs like paintshop or photoshop to open and use them to their best.

I have just downloaded a trial of scrap max here
http://www.scrapbookmax.com/site/index.php
I love it and would consider buying the full version. However, can anyone tell me if there are other programmes like this which may be better? I do have an old photoshop (about 10 years I think) Will that be of any use to me? It's been many years since I used it
