Mandy, can you let us know what we need to bring for the canvass class please? Thanks.

Hi Giselle,
For the canvas class you will need only one 6x4" photo (christmas themed) as it's an 8x8 canvas. Also bring your craft knife and mat as you will be cutting a title. We will supply the paints, papers, glossy accents, canvas etc., and all the other goodies needed to complete the project :)
We are using the Flair Designs Christmas papers on the canvas which have an oldy fashioned vintagey feel to them - really lovely. Rachel has done a fab job of her canvas and I'm sure you'll love it :D
Looking forward to catching up with you Giselle - see you Sat.

Thanks Mandy, don't have any Christmas pix that I like well enough to put on a canvass but am sure I can find one that can pretend to be Christmassy!!
See you on Saturday. :)

Hi ScrappyNina! Just logged on, how are you today? Didn't see you at school. I didn't know our kids sat on the same table!
Great to hear you are coming on Friday, will try & help with the complexities (spelling?)of this site a bit but I'm quite new to it all as well!
Have you asked for a newbie pack from Smurfie? Julia

Hi Nina, here's the thread to the foster home which is where you go while you are waiting to be adopted. Ask Smurfie for a newbie pack which explains the site. Miss P is nice isn't she, my daughter Molly had her in yr 3 too.

Looking forward to meeting you tonight Nina, and seeing you again Julia :D I am just stressed that it'll snow again (it snowed here last night and is still on the ground, but it's not much and I should be able to get down to the main road ok). Keep your fingers crossed that there's no more of the horrid stuff (until Sunday, then I don't have to go anywhere and it can snow as much as it likes!)

I met some fab people this weekend too, lovely to meet you Nina (although I'm sure you're completely mad? ;) ) and Giselle, I'm sure I'll see you both again soon at one crop or another :D Great to see you again Julia and Caroll, Liz, Sarah, Adele and all the other girls who aren't on the forum.

I had a great time yesterday, just a shame that i had to leave early. Finished my canvas last night and it looks fab. Mandy has your title dried out yet!!!!!!!
Oh did i leave my good scissors behind yesterday?

You did Caroll, I spotted them on the table (incidentally, where Mandy was sitting  ) about 5 minutes after you left! Mandy will hold on to them for you.

Aww no, I SO covet Carrolls scissors! But, Rachel did spot them very close to my person I can't deny that - but you might have to fight me for them Carroll
I don't know if it's cos I'm a leftie and all cack-handed, but those were the best scissors I have EVER used! Hand cutting that title was a breeze. and, yes, now you ask Carroll, my title IS dry - well it has had nearly 4 days now! It looks very good - glossy and very dimensional just like I wanted. Just gotta complete the actual canvas project now - don't hold your breath, it may take some time :D
I've started a chat thread for the 10th December 12 hour crop - are yous coming?
Mandy
