Hi!
Sorry - I have only just found this thread!
I have been having a look around, loads of useful info going back and forwards & some fantastic layouts in the gallery!
I try to have a look in most days, but there is always a queue for the computer in our house!!
So far I have made 3 single page LO's & 1 double page (which I am particularly proud of!)
I think I may have created a little fan - my 8 year old son, who usually spends most of his time playing football has been pestering me to buy him a scrapbook - just waiting for it to arrive now! :D

hiya Julie :D
well done on getting your son hooked, both my kids scrapbook, although ds less than dd  (they are 12 and 14) - you should sign him up for the kids forum (I run it  )
hope you're finding the forums easy to navigate :D i love it here and check in daily
have you put your layouts in the gallery?

Hi!
I haven't put anything in the gallery yet - I would like to, but I need a clear time without interruptions to work out how to do this!! I have also got a nice sparkly name now, but again, I need to find some uninterrupted time to work out what to do with that, too!!
I feel like I have spent all week rushing about, and ended up scrapbooking about 1am the other morning, just to unwind!
I am really impressed with Ryan's (DS) enthusiasm - he has only had his album about 4 days, and has done several LO's, and isn't scared to mix and match patterns and shapes - he is really enjoying it! I daren't tell him about the kids forum - I'd never get on the computer again!!
I do drop by here a lot, but usually only for a few minutes at a time, have a quick read through and see what everyone is getting up to...
I have been thinking about altering items - I found a brilliant artists palette in a pound-type shop the other day, and was wondering about using that as the base to alter - maybe using some of the kids paintings, scanned and scaled down, to make a collage to hang on the wall?
Also want to try a sara binder, initially for myself, but maybe then some little ones as Xmas pressies!
Now all I need to do, is find some more hours in the day.............! :D
Speak to you soon!
Julie :)

Hi!
I have been brave and uploaded a LO to the Gallery!
I thought I would see if I could link to it from here (http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=57490&cat=500&ppuser=11847&sl=j) but I don't know if that bit will work!!

fantastic layout Julie - I wish my first was as lovely, afraid it got hidden long since
how is ds? has he been scrapping?
the altering sounds good, I think you'll find you hang to almost EVERYTHING now, just in case you can alter it
